I guess I'm also in the category of a long term user of Trimix...some 12 years now. However, I did just very recently move to Quad-mix, ( at 10ccs) with great results. I can still get a usable erection with Trimix, but at a dose of 30ccs and wearing a cock ring. Everybody's journey with ED is different and unique. In my opinion it comes down to what you're comfortable doing for it whether it be pills, injections or an implant. I'm a single (divorced) guy with a younger GF, so so far I've been fortunate to have had Trimix work for me for so long. I decided to use the Quad-mix sparingly meaning if I can get by with the Trimix I'll use that...If I'm relaxed, and the mood is right on both my GF's and my part, Trimix works well....but if I'm feeling a bit "off" I go for the Quad-mix which does the trick....so far at least.

In what frequency(average) have you used trimix for so long? Also how long does the erection last and is it rock hard like teenage days or just a normal erection for penetration?
Venous like since I was 20 years old. Pills don't work too well. Thinking of implant in the future

For me mostly 2 times a week. Sometimes 1 or 3 times a week. On a few occasions for very short periods 4 or 5 times a week. Rarely twice in 24 hours.

I generally have injected on a once a week basis, sometimes 2-3 times a week and sometimes maybe once every 2 weeks. For a long time I was doing VED therapy which I have read limits scarring and keeps your dick "healthy". I've never had an erection lasting hours like some guys on this forum have reported. It's generally 30-45 minutes and can stay "chubby" for an hour or so after ejaculation.. I have had erections like you describe meaning like "teenage days" but usually only happens after I have increased the dose. Then the hardness seems to wane but the erection is still hard enough for penetration. I have found the use of a cock ring to be very helpful...in fact now I use one all the time when engaging in intercourse. This whole ED thing is one big adventure and you never seem to know which way the road is taking you... I have had several years of stability, meaning using the same Trimix dose, alternating sides, etc with great success...and then I've had the one or two times where I only partially hit my mark, or these's a mental thing going on and my response to Trimix is not what I'd like...and that ED panic sets in, which I hate until I have another successful injection. I then re-evaluate the dose, the age of the Trimix etc...sometimes a fresh batch will do the trick, or a slight increase in the dose....I have found the longer I go without sex, and then when I do inject, I can get a "teenage" erection as you put it. So much of ED is mental, both on your part and your partners. Boy if my GF is horny and wants it...my erections get that much more harder. It's just what works for me, everyone is different. Good luck on your adventure....hang in!

Pills never did work as a stand alone but I have found them to be a worthwhile supplement to the VED or injections.

I've been fairly happy with injections. Once figured out I've found them to be reliable and effective and very affordable. I have no plans to get an implant. But of course you never know what the future may hold.

I have nothing against implants. If they're the appropriate treatment for your ED then that's the course you should take. At least for now I'm happy with injections

Everybody is definitely different. I did pills for over 10 years, the first 8 very successfully. Then they started not cutting it so increased til it was detrimental side effects. Then injections worked but could never stabilize with the amount needed. It was a never ending too much too little with an ever increasing amount! Started with 5 units and about 8-9 months later was at 65 units and mixed results. Dr said I had a VL that was obviously getting worse. So I went with implant and never regretted it a day since.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

I recently came to the conclusion to go bionic. ED since my late 30s. Pills worked for a while, and Trimix for the past 5 or 6 years --- it works but I am getting tired of the injections and not quite sufficiently hard for good PIV sex. Uro gave me confidence to go bionic and I was about to schedule it a year ago when cancer hit and put everything on hold. Ready to get it done this spring! Looking forward to Little Mr. Roboto, and wish I had it done years ago.
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.
