Position while healing ?
Position while healing ?
My doc said just leave it alone while healing and he has been doing them for 35 years. NO, point up, down or sideways. Think about it. Your dick is anchored in your cruse. The angle is determined by your suspensory ligament and cruse muscles. Neither of them change with ED. If you had a blood filled dick that pointed at 2 or 3 o'clock. then a solid filled implant will point the same direction with or without RTEs. Am I wrong?

Re: Position while healing ?
yes.
A common complaint about implants is that they don't point up like you're natural dick did. My natural penis would point at 1:30 without issue. Now, I'm one of the luckier ones and my implant points directly at 3:00. I know others are later in the day than that.
It's not the same, it won't be the same.
For my healing, I kept it strapped to my abdomen as much as possible. I don't know if it's a real thing or not, by in my mind I pictured the crus ends of my cylinders getting scar tissue grown around them as I healed, I wanted the base to be helping the angle. I likened it to putting a fencepost into a hole in the ground and making sure it's plumb before packing in the concrete around it. Probably a completely false theory, but that's what I went with.
All that being said, angle is of no consequence when you're using it as designed.

Re: Position while healing ?
The dr told me yesterday to have to towards my belly button. Not to try to tuck it.
I'm healing in a recliner. 24/7.
Today is better than yesterday.

Re: Position while healing ?
My doctor explicitly told me to keep it pointed straight up for two weeks. Boston Scientific (AMS) says to keep it vertical for six weeks. They are a big medical device company and are quite unlikely to provide such guidance without good reason.
