I found sleeping on my side with a small pillow between my knees helped to keep the pressure off the surgery area.

Re: Update on 11/19 implant
Good morning everyone. Some good news to report. Today is post-op day 6 and I am almost void of any swelling. There is still some very minor discoloration here and there, but my penis looks completely normal in terms or original shape and appearance. My added bonus is that I no longer have a "turtle head" as I can clearly see the shaft and head in my flaccid state. What a great feeling as I was normally intimidated in the locker room and bed room when I wasn't hard. Still tender in spots to the touch, but it is definitely getting better. Stitches are still present, but they will dissolve on their own over the next ten days or so. I know a few fellow Frank-Talkers having upcoming surgery so I hope these updates help you gentlemen on your journey. You guys have much to be excited about and I sincerely hope that your anxiety lessens as the big day approaches.

Re: Update on 11/19 implant
Post Op, one week +1.
So the progress is steady, but its a slow walk not a sprint. My main issue is soreness toward the end of the day. This is completely my fault as I am pushing myself a little too much. Was busy with my kids yesterday so I was in and out of the car several times, up and down and carrying groceries. I slept so well last night though vs. the previous week... from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. without getting up to urinate. What a relief!
How about some pump talk? I am able to find mine without any problem. It is positioned right where it should be and the deflate button is easily detectable. That area is still tender, but I need to keep in mind that the doctor seriously manipulated the scrotum to make its own spot etc. My left testicle is also a bit tender, but the pump is positioned a bit closer to that one vs. the other.
No more Oxy. Just Tylenol now, 1000 mg 3x a day. The Oxy was only 5mg, so it was just enough to take the edge off. Maybe a glass of wine now or a frosty beer instead? Ya, I think so too.
So tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for. It sounds a little odd to add penile surgery to the list, but as everyone else on this site will attest to, it is a huge deal to us. We just want to be "Normal" and be able to do the things that men are supposed to be able to do. So yes, I am thankful for this AMS 700 LGX and I am thankful that surgery went well.
Best wishes to you all!

There can be kidney damage from taking both Tylenol and alcohol. Google it and you will find things like:

Re: Update on 11/19 implant
Hi everyone. Just dropping a note on my progress. Today is two weeks post op and I am still recovering. My pump is still in place at the bottom of my scotum and I can feel the pump / deflate button easily. Stitches are 80% dissolved and the wound is healing nicely. I have a ton of sensitivity in my penis still and feel aroused to the touch... still no boner though .
I'm only taking 2 Tylonol before bed now, that's it.
So I am on the countdown until activation on the 30th. I was hoping for something pre Christmas, but my doctor is firm on the 5-6 week recovery and I have to agree. I waited this long so risking my recovery is not worth it to me.
Good luck to those having surgery this week!!!!
PM me with any questions.
