Cylinder dislodged and now I need another surgery

Postby Blankloads69 » Sat Dec 09, 2023 4:38 pm

I woke up today and decided to do some cycling, but noticed the left side of my shaft was very squishy under the head, and the head also started curving to the left. I got heavy pressure on the same side when inflating, too. Even more annoyingly, I then noticed something kinda sharp poking into my perineum, and sure enough it was the other end of the cylinder.

I made an appointment to see the doc in a couple days, and he says he can schedule me for surgery in a little over a week. This will be the 4th surgery for my first revision. Ugh, I'm just happy it's before the end of the insurance year.

Have any of you guys also had a cylinder dislodge and start poking into your taint?

Sorry you're going through this man. Seems to be a unique issue.

Are the tips secured in your glans? I have heard that sometimes a glanspexy is performed where they stitch the tips into the glans to avoid the tips coming out.

Wishing you the best for your next procedure, keep us updated.

Just got back from the doc. He said because of my hematoma, the left side must have gotten weaker and couldn't take the use I've been putting it through, causing the cylinder to dislodge. He said he's going to put a graft on it to strengthen it and prevent it from doing that again. Good news is that it's outpatient surgery and nothing needs to be replaced.
