Aneros has been referenced in one thread so far, and discussed in chat. It's a prostate massage device. "Aneros" is marketed as a sex toy for hands-free orgasm, but it's also marketed by High Island Health (the manufacturer) as a PS prostate massager for prostate and male reproductive health.
My question is this...
For those of you who've successfully used it, has Aneros helped your EQ (erection quality), either for getting it up and/or keeping it up? Other than giving you a good orgasm, how has it helped your overall reproductive health? In what way? I have other questions (like understanding the 'learning curve' of such a device), but that will do for opening the discussion.

Aneros
60's. Married. Occasional ED offset by a variety of methods (VED pumping, foreskin restoration, edging) with Cialis and/or pills sometimes for sex.
Re: Aneros
Excellent topic! I, too, am interested in hearing from anyone who has used any of these products.

Born 1948, wed 1969. BPH & Type II Diabetes at age 35. TURP-2002; ED even before that--diabetes. Cardiac valve surgery: 2007 & 2019. Poor results with pills. Started trimix injections in Nov, 2010. Great results from the very beginning.

Re: Aneros
Thank you for bringing up this subject. I have read a lot about prostate massage in general. I have never tried it but reading reports it looks like it has a lot of benefits. My question is: for people like us ie previous prostate surgery, could it be damaging to that area of our anatomy? Or will it be beneficial. I cant bring myself to inserting something up my bum for pleasure but then you never know.

Re: Aneros
I have tried using a prostate stimulator on several occasions. I find that it does slightly improve erection quality but certainly not enough to work on its own. I still need additional help from erection enhancement pills and or constriction. Mine cost less than $10 so I feel the slight improvement (physical and probably psychological) was worth the price.

Thanks for your feedback. Any improvement even if slight would be welcome with me. Now I just have to pluck up the courage to try it!
Re: Aneros
I have two friends that I met on a Christian website addressing sexual issues...The Marriage Bed.
One guy is in his mid fifties or so, and the other guy is in his late forties.
Both had E D issues which they state resolved with becoming proficient in total body orgasms and prostate rewiring from Aneros use.
Both state erectile quality is now boylike with the return of nocturnal erections.
The aneros website records lots of men who benefitted greatly in erectile health from Aneros mastery.

Re: Aneros
Thanks.
This is a excellent topic for us to explore. I have used an Aneros from time to time since mid-summer and like the effects (YES) and believe it is an additional tool to better enable us to address the ED plague. My experience would also indicate that it contributes to sexual health and really contributes to well being. I will do an additional post next week to better explain my feelings and results. Sorry but things are unsettled here on my end of the frozen swamp and I don't have the time to give this justice. My bottom, no pun intended, line will be this is a tool from which many guys here can benefit and can fully enjoy.
I would ask Thinktank to assist those of us who are attempting to do better thru this tool to share with us the program and process for "full body" organism and the rewiring from aneros use. For some of us who are PCa victims with surgery removing the prostate, this may be more challenging process. But his comments are among the most encouraging I have seen. Even though we have lost our prostate all of us have lots of nerves remaining in that critical area and if our nerves were "spared" then maybe even more opportunity is present.
It is always a good thing when therapy is fun.
Regards,
Dick

I am looking forward to hearing about your journey and your comments.
I have very little personal successes with the aneros and havent had an aneros learning session in months and months. But my friends and other guys that I read after on the Aneros website are in another world of pleasure and healthy sexuality as men, including erections. They are energized as well by total body orgasms and the rewiring of the prostate.
The Aneros has a learning curve for many men and I am in that camp. Others hit the Super O quickly.
The Aneros takes time and privacy to use and married men with healthy sex lives and a close relationship with their sweeties seem to have a more difficult time learning the mastery of the Aneros. I am in that camp. Sex with my sweetie is regular and gratifying and I have little privacy or time to devote to the Aneros. I am sho nuff not going to abandon sex with my sweetie for the Aneros, as great as it is described by my friends and men on the Aneros website.
However, if a man has time and privacy, this Aneros business is as close to the fountain of youth as it gets. It seems to up T levels, libido, erectile quality, while letting men experience total body dry orgasms which many men tout as what women experience when they have a great orgasm. Many men go on to have orgasmic experiences riding in their cars and sitting at their desk. It is really the awakening of the prostate, they say.
Hope this helps. I am convinced that what my friends say is true. They are good and credible men. Maybe if I ever retire, I will have time and privacy to get into this.
Blessings.

Specifics
Dtwarren describes the Aneros as providing a slight improvement in EQ (erection quality). Regain says it helps sexual health and overall wellbeing. Thinktank refers to 'rewiring' the prostate (and nerves in the perineum, I'd guess, for guys who've had a prostatectomy).
I guess I'm wondering if those who've successfully used an Aneros (PS-2, etc) could explain exactly how prostate massage and hands-free, whole-body orgasms will help with EQ? What are the physiological mechanics? The instructions at High Island Health say that it's important that "the perineum abutment presses gently against the perineum acupressure point." < http://www.highisland.com/pm_instructions.php > Acupressure is a method from Daoist/eastern medicine. Apart from getting the yin-yang of my taint in balance, there may be a more scientific explanation.
For example, the few times I've worn a thong, the mild stimulation to the anus and perineum throughout the day will make my whole reproductive tract a bit more sensitive and "on edge," making it somewhat easier to get an erection. So does an Aneros help merely by stimulating the nerves? What's the advantage of that over simply wanking or edging? ("Edging" is wanking without going past the PONR, or "Point Of No Return.")
Simple use of the Aneros can massage out a few drops of prostatic fluid. It isn't an orgasmic ejaculation; it's a basic prostate massage like a urologist might do. However, the instructions at HIH claim that it isn't necessary to have any fluid pressed out, let alone ejaculated. They say that the main benenfit is improved blood circulation. If that's the case, I can see where regularly using an Aneros might help blood circulation for erectile function. But wouldn't pumping do the same thing, albeit focusing on the penis alone and not the abdominal floor?
One last question. An Aneros might provide nerve stimulation and blood circulation, but is it worth the time to try and have "whole body orgasms?" How would this help fight off ED?

Re: Aneros
I am far from an expert on prostate stimulation, but as I mentioned in my previous post, I have used a prostate stimulator on about five separate occasions. In all but one attempt at improving the hardness of my erection I was at least partially successful, I am currently undergoing T replacement treatment so I have not thought of using the device for about two months. Now that I am reminded of the improvement, though slight,it provided previously, I intend to try it again in the next few days.
Once you have inserted it two or three times, it becomes an easy procedure. You first need to lube your anus liberally with your index finger, both inside and outside. Then stretch your anal opening with your lubed index finger for a minute or two. Next, lube the stimulator and place it against your anus. As you gently push it in, start to kegel (like you are trying to cut off your pee) and the muscles will help pull in the device. Once it is fully inserted, the design of the device allows the bulbous end to rest on or near the prostate area, Now you can use the handle, which remains outside your anus, usually between your cheeks, to find the exact position on the prostate/prostate area and begin to message the area. (If you still have a prostate) you will know you are at the right spot. As I message the area I can actually feel my libido increasing and my dick begins to get stiffer. If you do not want to manually message your prostate with the handle, you can continue to kegel and you will get the same feeling. Not sure, physiologically, what the prostate generates when it is messaged, but it sure feels good. I leave it in when I return from the bathroom and lay down on the bed on my back and continue to kegel until I begin foreplay. Once I enter my wife, I start kegeling again and can actually feel the added strength of my penis.
Now that I have written the above, I wonder why I gave up using it. Mostly inconvenience I guess. I am now anxious to see how the combination of TRT and prostate stimulation effects my ED. Hay guys, what is more important?: sexual pleasure or not feeling like a deviate. I do the preparation in the bathroom and my wife still doesn't know I am doing it.
