Hey all,
I had my surgery 3 days ago. I have to say each day is getting incrementally better, but I now understand this is going to take some time.
I have an usual scrotum because of previous obesity and subsequent tummy tuck. My surgeon said wrapping it after surger was difficult. So, I developed a hematoma.....lots of fluid....turning my scrotum and area into a purple grapefruit. It may have been a cantaloupe the first day. But, it's gradually going down. He says it happens sometimes and mine is "medium."
He left me about 50% inflated because to try to use the pump at my 24-hour followup would have been too painful. He said sometimes he unwraps and people don't even look like they had surgery.
Of course I wish I didn't have the swelling, but realize that all I can do is take it easy, ice, and be patient. Anyone else with this experience?
My surgeon is Bryan Kansas in Austin, TX
Thanks!
