Help with injections

Hi guys. My Dr gave me Alprostadil for my injections. I started at 20cc. I haven't used it to much due to another surgery, double hernia. Today I gave myself an injection and it hurt putting the needle in. I wanted to see if I was able to get an erection. I had my prostate removed back in May of this year. Has anybody tried this or can I get some help to put the needle in? Thanks

I use 20 mcg Alprostadil ( .6 -1.0 cc). Works great. I inject with a " large" needle /. 27G x 1/2. Even given the size it's not too bad. Sting piercing skin & easier as it plunges to the hub. Inject slowly @ 3 or 9 position and straight. 90 degree to penis . Smaller gage needles prolly be a plus , say 30 or 31 x 5/16.

Morning, My first injection, I had was at Vanderbilt. The Dr was with me and she showed me where and how to inject.I had really good results after about 10-15 minutes. I tried several time after wards and I didnt get the results that I had previous. I'm wondering that when they operated on me for my hernia they cut something?

I seriously doubt it, although I'm not a doc. I had a double hernia repair in September. I told the doc my history with the RP, and that I was using a pump, etc. Nothing has changed for me, except my guts don't pop out anymore when I cough, lol.

Don't quote me on this, but the stuff that goes through your abdominal wall where the hernias always happen are the spermatic cord that brings sperm up from the nuts, blood vessels, and the nerve that makes your nuts ache when they get hit. None of these have anything to do with erections, as far as I know.

Has anybody ordered an auto injector from on line? I would like to try one.
