AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
Ok here goes. Since my second implant has failed after 7 months ( both having failed in less than a year total time ) me and my Dr have agreed to place a LGX instead of a CX for this round. My question is for those with a LGX or ideally someone who has had both, how hard does the LGX get? Is there a big difference in its erect state? My experience has only been with the CX and when I had it fully inflated those cylinders were pretty much steel rods - they didn't bend easy or very much at all. My Dr said that the LGX doesn't have the same rigidity as the CX and that's why the CX is preferred over the LGX. I'm just wondering if the LGX gets close to the same hardness or is it pretty noticable that it's not as hard. Either way I'm going with the LGX as having two CX devices fail ( the device issue not a Dr issue ) makes me want to switch up and a device the expands in length and girth would help mitigate any loss created from these multiple surgeries.
AMS 700 CX 21cm x 12mm with 1.5cm RTE, MS pump, and Conceal Reservoir. Implanted on 4-12-2023 removed and replaced 6-22-23 with the same, 1st implant surgery had pinhole leak in left cylinder, second failure tubing at connector

Re: AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
Hello,
I think one careful consideration is the idea of length/girth expansion with LGX. With a first time implant, most surgeons that place AMS would try to place LGX. But with revision, it seems a little tricker based on my research and talking to many surgeons. Outside of the body the LGX can explant up to 20%, but inside the body its limited by your own tunica and previous capsule from prior implants. Unless that is expanded at the time of surgery, its unlikely you would be significantly upsized at the time of surgery. Not all surgeons will do this or offer to do this.
There is the passive stretch and length/girth gain that you will get over 6-12 months by starting to cycle aggressively.

Radical Prostatectomy in 2015; failed pills, straight to Coloplast Titan in 2019 by Dr. Valenzuela in NYC, Replaced with AMS 700 CX in 2022 by Dr. Darshan Patel in San Diego, CA. Wish I jumped to an implant even before prostate cancer!

I saw in a video by Dr. Kansas that he insisted an LGX could get plenty hard enough. He says he teaches guys to use two thumbs depressing the bulb at the end.
71 years old. Implanted 1/2/2024 with AMS LGX, 18cm with 4cm rear extenders by Dr. Bryan Kansas in Austin, TX.

Re: AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
I haven't had the CX, but I have the LGX and honestly thinking about going back for a new one, either the CX or Titan. It just doesn't get stiff enough for my liking. trying to penetrate with sex it feels like it just collapses down too easily for me. One negative with length growth with inflation, the tips push too far up into my glans and it becomes numb after a while and squeezes all the blood out. I end up not being able to feel anything at all while fucking and I can never orgasm. Dr. Kramer recommended the CX initially but I was so fixated on length expansion with inflation to get more size that I didn't listen, should have gone with his recommendation.
50 yrs old. E.D. issues started around age 35, combo venous leak/testicular failure. Bilateral testicular implants for severely atrophic testes. Implanted 6/11/20 Dr. Kramer LGX 21cm + 1.
Re: AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
I have the LGX, and I have no issues with rigidity. I can easily withdraw and reinsert with no hands, and one girl in particular said she likes how I'm hard enough to force her to conform to my cock, which she said feels really good.
She said most guys don't have that, and they'll bend to follow her contours.

I do not know about the CX but LGX is very rigid.
CX must be more rigid

Re: AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
I’ve had both. The CX is a bit more rigid than the LGX.
Re: AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
The bottom line is as long as it's rigid enough for both parties to be satisfied, anything further makes no difference.
I weighed the advantages of both, and decided the LGX had enough additional benefits that mattered to me.
I'm not sorry about my choice.

Re: AMS700 CX versus AMS700 LGX
I have had both and the cx is for sure a lot more rigid than the lgx. With the cx pumped anything past 60 percent inflated was way too rigid for my wife to be comfortable.

So which one do you think is better or more important;
Comfort/concealability of lgx when flaccid?
Hardness of cx when you are having good time?
