Sting When Pump To Max

Had ams 700 cx ms pump 12mm x 18 cm with a 2cm RTE, put in on Dec 14, 2023. Cleared to start pumping on Jan 23, 2024. Doctor advised to pump up fully every day. Which I have been doing. He did not mention any length of time to leave it up.

When at max pump a have quite a bit of stinging. Try to leave up as long as I can. Easily make 15 to 20 minutes. After that gets too intense. If I go a little less than max by 2 or 3 pumps i can go longer, like 45 min to an hour.

Is it better to keep going to max pump i can do and work to increase time or back off slightly from the very max I can get and leave it up longer? Then work to get closer to max. What has worked for others?

Do you have any medicine?

Also try doing it in a hot bath.

My opinion and experience. Pump up to the max that results in a good stretch.
It'll be uncomfortable, or even mildly painful, but not severe. Leave it up as long as you can, up to an hour or so. Do this twice a day at first, and after a few months drop back to once a day.

Do follow your doctor's advice, and let him know if anything unexpected happens.

Ditto what bigdave said. My focus was to get back to original size. Took about 6 months and by then the pain went away and went to one cycle a day. Initially, It did not hurt much at first when pumped to max but became unbearable after maybe 20 minutes or so but that gradually expanded and I think it was after about 1 or 2 months that I could go over an hour.

I have only been cycling a few days, but same thing with me. I pump it up, wait a few minutes and pump more. Today, I pumped until I could not pump any more and I thought my skin was going to split. Yes, it really stings, but I expected that after reading other guys' posts over the months. In particular, it really hurt a lot in the area of the dog ears when they were stretched out to full bore. (That area also hurts when deflated. I assume that there is a lot of rubbing and irritation in those areas when the cylinders are crinked.) I left it maxed out for about 45 minutes and then let off a little steam which made it feel much better. My plan is to expand it as much as possible and hope that the pain will lessen with time. The Dr. told me to cycle three times a day, leaving the unit erect for 30-40 minutes at a time.

I actually don't want my penis to get much larger, but on the other hand a big dick is kinda fun, soooo.... But, yes, I think it's going to hurt for quite a while as it gets used to its new occupant's demands.

Remember, cycling is not playtime. It’s physical therapy. Like a knee or hip replacement or, in my case a few years back, recovery from a compound fracture of my elbow. The stretching and bending predictably hurt. The implant is the same.

I thought cycling in the earliest weeks hurt like hell. Pump up to max, and like you said, felt like it was going to split through the gland. (i actually had a nightmare about that). That, i’d describe as “really uncomfortable”. Then set a timer for :25 minutes. During those 25 minutes i’d do the Perito exercises, about 2 minutes worth each time. That wasn’t too pleasant either as my dick didn’t really want to bend down and sideways (from the base, never the shaft).

At :25 minutes, per Dr. Perito, i’d pump in a few more “micro squeezes”. Ouch! I’d reset the timer for :5 minutes and rap my knuckles on the table, pressing the deflate bar the second the timer was up. Breathing hard.

And yes, it got easier and better over time. 1 year postop now. I can make it hard as a railroad spike for over a comfortable hour now.

I am pumping to the max, doing bending exercises, and then pumping again for any more I can squeeze in. I do this cycle for at least an hour at least twice a day, along with using a dick pump, which allows for more to be pumped in. It hurts like hell after half an hour, beginning with stinging in the head, and then progressing to aching in my shaft towards the base, and then aching around the base, and then everywhere, with occasional bursts of sharp pain here and there. The toughest thing is to fuck after pumping like crazy. (Always anal in my case.) My doctor said that's the best of all exercise, and I'm sure he is correct, as nothing else causes so much pain in so many places. I had a breakthrough yesterday, as I was able to go 40 minutes (up from 30) fucking very vigorously while changing angles as severely as possible to stretch to the max. After that, I need to deflate a little to be able to carry on, and it goes from pain to pure pleasure.

What kind are you meaning? I never had enough pain post surgery to use anything but a couple of Tylenol for 2 days. Nothing after that at all.

As a follow up. Thanks for the information. I have been using a timer now and extending window of pumped to max. Just did a 30 min session. Been working up to that since posted and got replies.

Doctor had advised me to pump to max at least once a day. But didn't mention any length of time. So was going by what I have seen here and other places.

Advice to get warm, like in shower was definitely good. That helps. Also I've been doing 2 or more sessions of as long as I can take the sting. That deems to have helped get to 30 minutes. Guess I should be patient. Surgery was Dec 14 and doctor instructed on pumping on Jan 23. So really only a month in on the pumping. Will keep at it. Thanks for all the advice.

I'm a bit interested in pumping with it. I had been using Bathmate pump before surgery to try and keep from loosing length. Doc had advised didn't need it or my daily tadalafil (cialis) any longer. But wonder from some of your comments if the would help.

I didn’t start taking cialis daily yet but will resume.

Supposedly it makes the glands fuller no ide. I guess try and see.

Who was your surgeon. Seems a lot are told to wait and pump.
