Implant Flaccid Length

I've seen some images of implantees with long flaccid length, and many here have described themselves now as showers instead of growers. Is flaccid length with an implant nearly identical to inflated length? Also, does the implanted penis change morphologically as a penis normally does? You know, shrinking and growing throughout the day.

If flaccid length is longer, what is the reason behind this?

I suspect there is a component of this that has to do with what device you get implanted with.

I can speak for LGX recipients. Yes, it’s supposed to get bigger from flaccid to erect. Mine does. The amount of lengthening will depend on a guys internal anatomy as well as what size LGX that’s implanted. The 15 cm LGX doesn’t lengthen as much as the 18 cm LGX, and the 18 cm LGX doesn’t lengthen as much as the 21 cm LGX.

If I’m remembering the manufacturer’s specs the 15 cm is designed to lengthen about an inch, 1.25” for the 18, and 1.5” for the 21.

Every once in a while it’s nice when a product does what it’s supposed to. My 18 cm LGX (w/ 5 cm of RTEs, which do NOT get longer) grows exactly 1.25” in length when inflated.

That takes me from a 5.5 +/- flaccid to an erection which is never less than 6.75”. (I’ve seen a peak measurement of 17.3 cm (6.81”).

That 5.5” flaccid is about 2” longer than what I had pre-implant. The erect length is 1/16” shorter. No, I’m not losing any sleep over it.

I'm curious about that increase in flaccid length. Does the implant relax the penis allowing for increased flaccid length? Is this "relaxation" a consequence of corporotomy?

I‘m a shower now, was a grower all my life. Penis is very long now in flaccid, when erect it grows still a bit in length.

No „morphological“ change in length anymore in flaccid mode. Flaccid stays the same, all the time. I think this is indeed related to the corpus cavernous which has been replaced with the plastic cylinders.

Flaccid length is (likely) longer than pre-implant flaccid length because the implant does not stretch in the same manner (or amount) that living flesh does. Likewise, throughout the day the implant material does not go through changes initiated by itself.

A man's flaccid length (if he was a "grower" before implant) will be unable to shrink back the way it did before because now he has an object in it that prevents the full contraction.

Theoretically the length of a penis implanted with a non-lengthening implant should be the same as the penis' length whether the implant is inflated or not but there are two extra things to consider. When pumped up, 1) the man may become aroused and this will swell the spongiosum tissues in the glans, adding a bit of length and 2) sometimes the implant can crinkle up when deflated (think of a concertina bellows), shortening the penis/implant whole and when the crinkles straighten out the penis/implant can be longer than when deflated.

It's my understanding that they don't "hollow out" any tissue, they simply poke an hole with the measuring instrument, and pull the implant into the cavernousum with the attached suture. It displaces the spongy tissue.
As far as its abilityo to retract, it's simply limited by the deflated cylinder length.

I second this.
My 21cm LGX implanted penis lengthens by about 1.5 inches when inflated. A bit more when the glans is engorged.

I am 5.25 flaccid and 6.25 erect. I was also a grower, kinda like the new larger flaccid. I have a titan classic pump.

Same as others, at first I was an inch short but over time I regained all lost length. My original flaccid was fairly rigid and only grew about 1/2” in length. Now however it is about 1-1/4” shorter when flaccid. My cylinders crinkle up or as I’ve described before have an accordion effect and are able to shrink up a bit more now than 6-8 months ago. Still very much a shower! Before implant I would shrink up to 2” or so, have to pull it and stretch it to go pee in. The cold weather. Now I’m about 5-1/2 flaccid and 6-3/4 fully pumped.all these changes occur so slowly after initial implant that it’s very difficult to notice the changes. At first it felt like I was huge all the time but now it just feels normal to have a full 5-1/2” shower.
