I was going to add a signature at some point. but I usually add the relevant detail or contextual.

I had ED for so long I don't know what my dick is without pills, injections (never had one work fully), and the VED (pump).
Of course, the pump is the best we can get visually, but it stretched to the max.

Before I am aroused, it is a little more oval, but when the arousal sets in, it rounds more. I can't say the oval thing bothers me at all
and it's a non-issue.

As I know I am only 3 weeks out, I can't tell you how pleased I am and I have felt that way since they took the bandage off (day 2)
--it's just more pleasing now after pumping it.

I am still not quite believing ED is not with me now, and this rock-hard thing is what I have.

When are you planning to cycle?

If you look at the Clavell videos and get the right hold before pumping (so you don't slip), it is not that difficult. Mine is quite soft, really,
and I thought it would be harder.

It's all about getting the hand locked in steady. The technique seems to be what it's about.

It's the deflating that is more difficult. Especially if the scrotum sack is tight, and I guess that's why baths are recommended.
Still, after a few tries --bingo, a great Boner being deflated.

I went down a similar path… playing with and figuring out the pump awhile ago and then deciding to first deflate and then pump it up. I was fortunate that it was all quite easy for me and no pain or discomfort. I’ll post some more detail on my own thread to avoid running on here. So far so good here.

Good on you.

For my part, I guessed if I got comfort from the dog ears with a few pumps, then good, but as I tested the deflate (and I got it)--it made sense
to continue.

I have the AMS 700. I have been just touching and fondling the pump bulb. I agree, this damn pump is a ROCK. Nothing soft or touchable about this pump. There is no way I'm gonna squeeze or pump this thing. I will need some pliers or a hammer to squeeze this ROCK. I was pleased with the surgery, but as hard as this rock (Pump) is, I can't see myself ever using this thing. And I thought I read everything on here about the implant process. I just don't remember ever reading about a rock being installed in my scrotum. Even that damn demo mock-up, in the office, was just hard plastic, not a stone. Hell, my URO covered and reviewed, and it was never mentioned that the pump would be like a rock. So as I see it, the surgery was a 1 or 2, on the scale, compared to squeezing this rock or stone. Squeezing the stone is a 14 or 15. You will need a good set of pliers or vise grips, to use this thing.

I understand the AMS is harder to pump up, but mine titan classic did seem rock hard when I was just exploring and feeling it, however it really isn’t that difficult to pump once you give it a go. Get your grip right, stabilize the pump with your other hand and just push. Once I did it wasn’t that bad. I got some full pumps and some partial pumps, which also worked quite well to firm things up. I wouldn’t worry about being able to do this, since worst case it takes a little extra training time with the doctor.
Implanted 2/14/24 at age 50 w/ a 22cm Titan, no RTE's, classic pump by Dr. Clavell after 9+ years of worsening ED. I tried everything from pills to injections. Venous leak confirmed 2/2/24. Healthy, fit and active.

I am am 4-1/2 weeks out. Been deflated after 10 days. My pump feels rock hard. Can't wait to try it out at week 6. I had a difficult surgery over 6 hrs, so there was no way I could touch the pump much. All seems explorable now. Thansks.
71 y/o with Coloplast Titan Touch on Feb 7 2024, Organic ED 6 years, tried Pills, Trimix, Vacuum, LI-ESWT, ESWT. PILLS & Trimix worked for awhile. Married 35 years.

Some docs say and do things a but differently but it seems most us get to the same place eventually.

I was told by the consultants that it would just prevent shrinkage occuring from ED.

Once you do a pump or two you'll realise that the pump is not that hard.

Just over a week and you'll be pumping like nobody's business.

Sorry you had a difficult surgery as I was fortunate. You are following very soon :D
