At 3 week follow up, CRNP said all looked good, we attempted to inflate but was sore, still a little swollen. She said try at home in two weeks. I thought I would try a couple days later. Hard bulb, like other guys have mentioned. I must have inflated some as now I have a 3” partially inflated chub that tent poles against my jeans and penis and scrotum aching almost as bad as that first week. What I didn’t mention was before I put clothes on, I tried to deflate and couldn’t find the deflate button and was already sore by then.
So, with a 3” aching chub, when I get the nerve, I’ll feel around (thats gonna cause more pain) and try to deflate it. Didn’t know it was gonna be like this. I’m sure it will work out

Re: 3 week inflation attempt
i was left 60% inflated
then at the 6 week mark my surgeon deflated it and then had me inflate and then deflate a few times in his office to get the hang of it but it took forever to find the deflate button every time
i am now on the 7th week post op and still find it hard to inflate the rock and much harder to find and activate the deflate button
some mornings i think i will be late for work before it finally goes down to a manageable 'stiffness'

Re: 3 week inflation attempt
I read many topics and replies before I decided to post. Consensus seems to be, the process will get easier. I suppose I should have waited, but didn’t realize I would get this sore. I don’t know if I’m causing any harm by keeping a partially inflated penis, until I get it deflated.

post your signature with the implant model and length
LGX 18 + 1, 90 cc. 2023/12
Pre-OP VED length: 5.5". Post-OP: 4". At 3 months post-op: 5".
Cycling with a lot of pain for the first 5 months, now improving
If you have a motorcycle or a bike stop using it (ED with motorcycle accident).

A hot bath works wonders for learning how to pump

Deflating is a challenge. The button is quite small. If you are still sore poking around can make it worse. If you're incision is fully healed and doc clears you to bathe a hot bath is great to relax in and inflate/deflate.
I note your signature has bladder cancer. I was diagnosed in April 2023.

Re: 3 week inflation attempt
At my two week stitches removal my Dr said I. Old experiment as soon as I felt up to it but he did say don’t put more than 1-2 pumps in before deflation. Guess I was one of the lucky ones. I held the sample pump he gave me in my hand a bunch the first two weeks so the first time I tried it was surprisingly hard but managed to get a few pumps in and deflation was easy just required a little squeeze of the shaft while holding the button. Man did it get sore but I pumped every day after that gradually increasing the amount .
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

Agree, baths are great. I also had a hard time with deflation, got sore like you mentioned, then the next day in the bath the release tabs popped free, it took way more force the first time, every time after was easy. I think my pump was stuck from the healing process.
