Yeah my issues were definitely surgeon based and not the device itself. I could have gotten surgery again covered by the Rigicon warranty but I decided to go with a different surgeon, Dr. Hakky - US based and that surgeon noted the diameter difference in the Titan that would better fit my anatomy. Im post-op Day 2 with a revision and placement of Titan 24cm+1 rte right now and have had a better experience so far.

I think surgeons should make as accurate a measurement as externally possible before surgery. My size requires a special order and I don’t think they had the proper unit in stock at hospital. This resulted in rte’s that might have been avoided. Even revision unit was not sized well. Talk it out beforehand so they are not surprised after you are in surgery and they have to work with what they have on hand.

I agree. All surgeons have to work with what they have in stock and patients need to advocate for minimal RTE use and ask what estimated device size will be. The truth is they dont know for sure until they measure in OR but it helps to ask in advance.

So would you say getting a Rigicon is worth it(if done with a good surgeon) when compared to AMS and Titan? Also how would you compare it to your current implant when it comes to other factors, such as inflation time, sound made during inflation, etc?

I'm considering a Rigicon with Karaman myself and want to be informed as much as possible. There is just so little reviews and opinions on Rigicon here that it's hard to make a decision.
