I'm so sorry you've gone 20 years without an implant.
It's never too early and it's never too late.

Thanks for your reply and may you have a speedy recovery. Post-recovery assistance is something I have had doubts about. What kind of things do you need help with during recovery?

If and when I get the surgery, a family member could be there, but is it possible to be helped and keep your privacy at the same time? I would obviously prefer them not to see me naked and with a half-inflated injured penis.

How are you addressing all of this?

Did the surgery completely alone. Flew from the east coast to Texas to see Clavell. Send me a message if you have questions. It’s 100% doable, I have some suggestions and tricks to help you out

Update 21/03/2024: I have had the catheter removed and bandages changed. Surprisingly (even for the doctor), I have 0 bruising. Sensations are quite better without the catheter.

I have been told that the reservoir is in the scrotum. Is this usual? I would have preferred to have It in a different place.

In general terms, after a really bad night without almost sleeping, I am much better now.

If you got the Ams Lgx there is only the pump in your scrotum
The reservoir is in your abdomen
, good luck with your new you. Remember it gets better every day it’s going to be a year to best. Enjoy the journey brother.

Thank you! I keep myself positive anyway. Things cant be worse than before.

The nurse told me the resevoir is in the scrotum, but he might not know It... I have asked now to the doctor.

How bad was your ED? Did you lose erection completely very quickly?

Even on pills I would get hard but loose rigidity after a couple minutes. Movement or position change, forget it. Would go soft. My dick would always get bigger and be a plump noodle. Could never retain rigidity. Even when masterbating I’d lose my erection. As I approached orgasm it would get harder but the in between was soft

See I was told I almost certainly don't have venous leak, but I always feel inconclusive

When I'm stress free I can keep an erection with the right stimulation as far as I know for quite some time.

However with no physical stimulation it's not going to stay hard longer than a minute, but i have been told that's fairly normal with no stimulation.

I guess the difference is losing it with good stimulation or not.

I can sometimes. Change position but still need to be stimulating in between, in won't just randomly sit there staying hard.

Again talking to friends they said theirs is like that too.

I know it's online so taken with a pinch of salt but it almost appears people think it's VL if you don't stay rock hard for hours on end.

Nobody does this, and I think erection rigidity goes between 95 and 80% for most people during sex.

That said I tend to lose rigidity over the 10nor 15 mins of sex at points if the stimulation isn't right for me or the girl is too wet.

The 9dd thijng is I don't always notice mjuch difference whether I'm on pills or not.

My partner is completely satisfied a d always says she thinks in crazy thinking I have ED.

However that might be because ause shes more into foreplay and not crazy sexed.

If I had a partner that wanted multiple rounds and different positions I might find more pressure.

Also were you able to have sex at all or did it almost always fail quickly?

Thanks.

Sex was tricky. I could penetrate and after a couple pumps I couldn’t continue. Would have to stop

I bring good news. After a difficult night, because while peeing I wet my wound and the bandages so I has to remove them and clean the wound some hours before planned and I got a little bit nervous, today I am pretty well. I have no bruising at all and almost 0 swelling. My penis already looks at least as big as expected. Of course, I am unconfortable but not really big pain for the moment, I hope things keep going this way.

If only this thing got autoinflated with the mobile or something similar... I would be 100% happy

Edit: I got freezing glans yesterday with the bandages. However, I think that today, after removing them, the glan is not cold anynore.
