Getting the IPP and AUS on Tuesday
Getting the IPP and AUS on Tuesday
I am driving to Houston today for dual implants tomorrow, AUS and IPP. I hope I haven't bitten off too much getting both done at once. I am getting the AMS 700LGX and the AMS 800. I think there will be five tubes in my scrotum plus the two pumps and that has me wondering what that will be like. Well I guess I will soon find out. The AUS is beong done by Dr. T Boone , Methodist and the IPP by Dr. Larry Lipshultz Baylor. These two guys do a "tag" team operation when a patient wants both. I will be driven home Wed am by my wife to my home near Baton Rouge. My friend Corvetteman, aka Cajun Jeff, might be posting the first update as I hope to be calling him on the way home. Hopefully in six weeks time my situation will be improved then I have to learn how to operate my penis.
age 74 married, Robotic RP Dec.2009. Implanted Jan 2011 with AMS 700LGX and AMS 800 AUS. (AMS 1500). IPP failed March 2018 , leak. Planning an AUS revision (total replacement) in 2018, now I need the IPP too.

My guess is that Ron has had his surgery by now. I sure hope he is doing OK. Tomorrow he is planning on calling me. I will be on the road. Any of you guys available during the day to post an update for me if I call you tomorrow?
