About to give up
About to give up
Tried injecting again today. Complete failure. I don't know what to do. First time I tried, I was successful, but only successful about 50% since. I am thinking about involving my wife in the injection process to see if we can do better together ❤️. Has anyone else tried involving SO?
Re: About to give up
Did you try the max dose or lower dose Trimix?

How many times have you injected?

Injected 10 times. When I hit the right spot it works at dose of 10 units
Re: About to give up
When you do the injection. Are you certain you are injecting the Trimix into the Corpora Cavernosium?
If you miss injecting into the Corpora Cavernosium, you will have a misfire.
I think that when most guys miss when they do the injection they guess that they are injecting into the correct spot.
But in fact, are very nervous and their penis is in flaccid state.
What I would suggest is using VED to produce a semi-chubby where you can see and feel the Corpora Cavernosium.
In my experience, this takes 1-2 minutes. Then remove the VED and inject where the Corpora Cavernosium is clearly visible and can be felt.
I've been doing this for over a year and haven't missed the target since.
The other option would be to masturbate and produce a chubby.
One advantage of doing this is that you start the blood flow, which results in a quicker erection.

Pedi: Don't give up, it's tricky but you can learn. Were you given any instructions at the urologist's office? Read the numerous technique posts here in this topic "Injections," going back two or three years. Most importantly, you're in the corpus when there's no resistance to plunger travel, and there's no pain when you push the plunger. If these two criteria are not met, pull out and try another spot.
I don't think another person, even a medical person, could help. I need to feel the needle travel and correct when I feel that I'm off.
Post each failure with all the details, and we'll help.

Guys,
I can ditto Pedi10 post. My first attempt was perfect. No pain, with great unexpected results.
My last 10 attempts have had several complete misses, several partial misses with only a few hits in the sweet spot. Many have had pain with lingering tenderness. Obviously, I’m not hitting the correct spot.
I know this is Pedi10’s post, but seems like I am experiencing the same problem.
This is my story:
I VED pump up to over half capacity and pop on a large ring just to help hold the chubbiness. I carefully look over where I might insert the needle. I’m looking for a place at the 2 o’clock position that is free of any veins. I slowly insert the needle, being watchful of hitting any veins and being hyper aware of causing any pain. After seeing that the needle is completely in my target area, no metal showing and no pain (yet), I carefully maneuver my hand under the needle, palm side facing up and grasp the needle with my middle two fingers, which allows the fatty left side of my hand rest against my penis giving me very good stability. Being sure that the needle doesn’t move, I extend my thumb and start to depress the plunger.
On several occasions, this causes instant pain. Once I feel the pain, the panic mode kicks in. Quickly making an adjustment to the angle of the needle, I try to continue to depress plunger, not wanting to go through the agony of another insertion. Probably not the right thing to do, but at the time, seems more important to just push the meds in and get it over with.
Today’s attempt, while inserting on the right side, even though I was partially pumped up, I think I missed on the left side of the corpus, too much on 1 o’clock side. I have a small bruise there and feel tenderness where I missed. It was a total miss.
Pedi10 - my apologies for jumping in on your post and issue, but I’m having the exact same problem. You/we have these high hopes that you are about to get laid and end up with nothing more than disappointment and pain.

Re: About to give up
Hi guys. I wonder what length needles you are using. Going all the way in with a 1/2" is too deep for many men (depends on your girth). For me, I usually only need to go a little more than 1/4" deep to be in the right spot, so the 5/16" needles work out better for me. I can use the 1/2", but have to consciously leave it about halfway out. Too deep and you are going thru the CC and probably into the urethra. Study the anatomy of the penis and re-attack... you will get there. Best wishes.

No problem RJ. I understand your frustration. I have ordered 5/16 in needles to try again. I think I am going past the sweet spot.
