By what I have read there are less issues with the AMS, I would like to see Rigicon IPP used in the USA but has not been released for the US market.

I believe that if you can get enough engorgement from oral and can ejaculate from oral, but can't penetrate it may be better to stay natural

That said there may be a fair number of females that disagree with me
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is sexual health expert Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. I also have mild BPH

Lol yes this might be a contentious opinion among the ladies. That said, I do agree there are definitely a lot of downsides to getting implanted.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

I started this post originally and I wanted to thank everyone for their input. That said, I am still on the fence… my girlfriend says that she is ‘content’ with our current relationship, one in which we do not have penetrative sex and only very occasionally sex of any kind… not sure how honest she is being, but I am afraid that if I were able to get the courage up to get an implant that she wouldn’t be that into sex and then where would that leave me? Basically, my sex life is solo in which I masturbate using a penis ring over both penis and testicles in which I am able to get quite hard. Somehow, this doesn’t transfer over into actual intercourse, which is baffling to me.

I hesitate about the implant because the thought of the surgery down there, and the recovery really intimidates me. I have spent hours and hours reading posts on this site, and while typically men say they wish they had done it sooner, I also have read so much about how unnatural it feels, and men feeling the tubing and how you are always aware of it. Yes, you can f**k, but you also seem to always be aware that you have a prosthesis, one that you will eventually have to replace… i’ve also read that it can take up to a year before you stop constantly thinking about the implant after you get one. And that’s in the successful cases…

And yet… I still think about an implant. It’s been about five years since I’ve had penetrative sex regularly, and I’ve almost forgotten what the sensation is like. Using a penis ring, and 5 mg of Cialis daily, my hand, and imagination, I am able to get rock hard. I just don’t get it, I think I am now mentally messed up because I have no fantasies about vaginal sex anymore. Sad…

I don't think of vaginal penetration anymore either and honestly I don't think it's sad. Of course I would rather have a good erection, but I am past the natural phase of fathering healthy children and the women I am interested in are past the age of conception. And I am younger than you.

I was on the fence also, but I realized that no matter which direction I go I will regret it. So for me it's much easier to not get the implant and regret it than the reverse. I'd rather the devil I know than the one I don't.

I will say that your masturbation arrangement sounds like you could be damaging your penis more. I'm trying to go in the reverse direction of using toys that have less pressure. My penis remains semi-flaccid and it's difficult to reach orgasm without using my hand, but it puts less strain on my penis and my entire reproductive system feels less taxed. I think when we have ED and masturbate using rings etc we are stressing all those smooth muscles in the penis and pelvis

I haven’t really considered that the penis ring (A band which I put over both penis and testicles) would be damaging my penis. I know I had a urologist(Dr. Eid, actually) tell me that he did not recommend vacuum devices for the reason that it could damage the penis. However, I know many forum members use penis rings in conjunction with pills and shots for intercourse. I keep it on for about 15 or 20 minutes during masturbation to get fully engorged it works very well for that. I remember that the package of the penis ring said not to wear it for more than 30 minutes, and I never get close to that. I also figured that being fully engorged once in a while would help deter penis shrinkage, which I haven’t really had. (At least I don’t think I have, I don’t measure unlike some of the guys in the form)

Do you or any other members have any information on the use of penis rings and damage to the penis? I thank you for your input and also for commiserating with my situation…
