hi easymoney I didn't know that you had a system, nor that you needed an overhaul and why, I see you make a lot of posts, if you can add your signature to understand

you need a revision with a malleable ? thats the first i heard of that . what happened ? but yeah the rigi10 largest diameter rod is 14mm . i didnt know the shaw malleable had one at 15mm . but they are more flexible and stay sprung up . you need a contraction band to hold it in place

A revision of a malleable implant can easily occur for two main reasons:

1. **Defective product**
2. **Screwed up sizing measurements by the surgeon**

The Shah device features a flexible hinge to help keep it concealed. It includes no metal core, which prevents S-shaped deformities over time that could compromise axial rigidity.

Well I had a Rigicon10 implanted 6-2023 ..a month later they thought it was infected and did a slice and dice looking for an infection they never found. Fast forward to Feb 2024 started noticing something going wrong with the glans. It started off becoming floppy and then over time the right rod of the implant came out from behind the glans and is trying to poke out through the shaft. I asked the dr and he called it "flailing" and said he wrote a paper on it. When I read it it appears he might have undersized me, going in 6-2024 for a revesion but if he has to do any repair work, where I have to have surgery and come back in a few months to put a new implant in might have it all ripped out. I'm a little angry that the simplest implant that should have worked fine has turned out to be such a pain in the ass in the end.

I feel very sorry, Easymoney, that this happened. With implants, it often feels like we're dependent on luck for a successful outcome. It's disheartening that you were undersized; this shouldn't have occurred. Hopefully, the revision goes well and you come out stronger. Are you experiencing any pain from the rods exerting pressure on the shaft? I hope not.

It is a bit tender where it is putting pressure on the penile shaft. Have to be careful how I sit as to not put even more pressure on it. The skin becomes a bit enflamed at times I think from rubbing on my underwear, it is out quite a bit I'd post a photo but not sure if it is allowed or how to do it.

Easymoney, I can definitely sympathize with you on this one.
Back in '20, had Boston Scientific, Genesis (Thought it was a Tactra, but found out later he changed his mind in OR) to hold things in place for what I have now, which is the Titan now and can give my 2 cents regarding putting things away.
The Genesis and Tactra, to me, gotta bend more then 90° for the guy to feel comfortable.
Tactra was great after about a month because the sensitivity wore off, but during that time, I was going crazy!
I even went to a friend's place about 50 miles away and had to let my dick out because I was driving and the sensitivity was also driving...me crazy!

Come to find out, the Rigicon10 bends at 135°, which I think sounds a lot better for the guy (IMHO)

Just to be clear, did you have the Genesis or the Tactra?

so it was under sized and that allowed the tip to move under the glans and poke out in the shaft . damn . yeah, otherwise malleables don't have mechanical misfunctions
this time around they will get it right . Unfortunately there is a "this time " best wishes for the next one .
the shah has no metal hinge ;at minute 3:45 and needs constrictive under wear to hold it in place . other wise its ;boing boing . sticking straight out .

Shah has a silicone hinge.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8173931/

"There was a tip of very soft silicon (Shore A 10) to reduce risk of perforation, an anterior segment of very stiff silicon (Shore A 70) to provide rigidity to the penile shaft, a central 5 cm zone of soft silicon (Shore A 25) to act as a flexible hinge at the base of the penis for concealment, and a moderately firm (Shore A 50) posterior crural segment that could be trimmed and fitted with rear tip extenders."

Every darned malleable requires an underwear, or am I wrong?

With Shah, the metal won't snap out, develop S shape deformities and become loosey and bendy after repeated bend cycles. It's like the malleables of the 70s. Metal came into existence in 80s to please the consealability enthusiasts
