Implant for masturbation?

I've been using injections for the last few months and honestly they work very well. However, the wife only wants sex 2 times a month. I've been using injections for private times without the wife. However, it seems strange to have to use injections for masturbation and also it's a pain when we travel. I feel as though I want to do something for myself finally in my life. For those who have used injections before what are your thoughts on switching to an implant? Would you wait till the injections no longer work or would you simply go for the implant if finances were not a consideration? Thank you in advance.

Sex with my girlfriend is nearly a natural and spontaneous as a natural erection. No planning ahead, waiting for chemicals to take effect and when sex is agreed to be done, it is easy to deflate.

I also skipped injections. I had been on the pills for ~20 years and they were working less and less well. Even with higher doses, they didn't always work, and I got side effect like stuffy nose and sometimes headaches. I didn't like the hassle of injections. I am thrilled with my new, reliable penis. I only wish I'd done it 10-20 years earlier.

I've been implanted for over almost 8 years. Skipped injections. No sex for at least 10 years before I got my first implant. When it failed, immediately made an appointment and got it replaced knowing it is very unlikely it will ever be used for sex with my wife. So implant for masturbation, yes. But that's me. You need to do what feels right for you.

I used injections when pills didn't work for me, were successful only 2 or 3 times over about 6 months. I also didn't like the hassle of their use.
If injections work with you and your wife doesn't want sex more than twice a month, I do not think you will need an implant at this time. It is the last resort. On the other hand, if your wife isn't into more sex because of the injections, an implant with its spontaneity might make her willing to have more and more sex with you.
With the implant, you will be more horny and you will be looking for sex or masturbation many times a week

I'm diabetic and aging so of course I was losing sexual function as time went on. Had 2nd stroke 7-2022 and lost all ability to have an erection plus lost my libido. Tried the shots never worked once for me just got soft chubbies and spent 100's of dollars for nothing. My dr. would only implant a Rigicon mallabble due to my age and health issues. Was implanted first time 6-2023 and was redone 6-2024 due to "flailing" of the glans. I use my implant mainly for self pleasure due to my partners health issues. I have no regrets doing it except I wish I would have done it years ago which since I have been disabled on Medicare for 25 years I could have had it done much younger. You have one life and one penis who is your best friend through life, as we age he becomes like an unruly teenager with a mind of his own. Me personally I never worried about size, showed the dr photos of 25 years ago he said that was then this is now simple as that. Plus most of us are mid 60's and older who are we trying to impress with out dicks at this age?

Tried everything to include injections, both tri and quad-mix. Very seldom achieved anything but pain and a burning sensation. I developed PD prior to implantation and was told I had severe fibrosis. Cannot prove it but I do believe the injections were the start of the PD. For me. All of us are different and will react differently to any drug. So, some will use injections without harm for years, others, like me will react negatively. Obviously, injections are not a fun toy and one should closely monitor their body reactions. Personally, I regret wasting my time on pills, injections and pumps. In hindsight, I know for me that I should have moved directly to my Titan implant. Love my implant! Like several others on this thread, pills were just making me sick after ten years. Wife not interested in in the least. No amount of behaviors on my part has made a bit of difference in her behavior. Im still very horned. Yes implant is great for us baters too. Its not how I saw my life but its how it turned out.
Loose any guilt you may be invested in. Men deserve sexual satisfaction even when the ladies throw in the towel. Go for it.

Pills worked for 10 years then injections worked some time but were never reliable. I had sex once on weekends and usually messed around with her and I would get off midweek when I was injecting . Hated it every time I used a needle.Yes injections were used for masturbation…. But yes it was an issue. Probably masturbated less during the 16 months I was on injections than any time before or afterwards.Was practically impossible to inject, get off, and get down if time was limited so just gave up on that most of the time.Implant is really nice! Almost like when I was younger, get horny,get hard,get off! Anytime you like. I actually just pump up to feel the hardness occasionally, it’s so convenient! I’ve often said a person will know when their time is right for implant! Maybe it’s your time. I knew when it was mine and I didn’t hesitate at all and never regretted it a day! Been 25 months and enjoying it more and more!
