I've been implanted for over almost 8 years. Skipped injections. No sex for at least 10 years before I got my first implant. When it failed, immediately made an appointment and got it replaced knowing it is very unlikely it will ever be used for sex with my wife. So implant for masturbation, yes. But that's me. You need to do what feels right for you.

With the first implant probably at 4 or 5 weeks. Could have been sooner but was still tender and I didn't know what to expect. With the replacement little over a week maybe.

I'm diabetic and aging so of course I was losing sexual function as time went on. Had 2nd stroke 7-2022 and lost all ability to have an erection plus lost my libido. I used pills for 2 years. They did not worked always.
