Hello - 51 year old gay male. I retired comfortably about 2 years ago. Split time between Chicago and Phoenix. Lost 50 lbs on seglamutide. Was having a lot of hookups until about three months ago when pills stopped working reliably. I tried the Pshot and gainswave but I think they are the snake oil everyone says. I’ve tried the injections with limited success and my penis gets really sore. I’m almost to the implant decision.
Glad to find this group. Gay men can be quite shallow and it’s good to hear so many of you are having success with the implant. I am almost always a top and I don’t want a relationship. I’m thinking the implant is inevitable unless I want to give up sex. Thanks for being here!

Re: Newbie
Welcome to FrankTalk! I'm getting an implant 9 days from today. A bit anxious if I think about it too much. But I'm excited too. I still have many years of sex ahead, as do you.
I also have concerns about being accepted (and not mocked) having an implant. I posted on a gay men's Reddit sub asking how guys would feel hooking up with someone who had an implant, and all replies were positive. Most guys with implants say hookups don't even know. I guess I'll find out once I start using it in practice, instead of just theory. But it has to be better than being unable to perform at all. (As I was just starting to top more...)
The guys here on FrankTalk have been very supportive and share a wealth of information. But I've also learned that every man's situation is different, and doctor's procedures are all different, so that's something to keep in mind.
Best of luck!
Doug

Re: Newbie
As you can tell by my bio I had my first implant 10 years ago. I had two revisions so obviously I haven't regretted the implant. Would I do it again probably not at my age, but you never know. I am very disappointed with my implants. Not because of the devise or it's capabilities. Due to twenty years of ED and prostate surgery the doctor didn't have much to work with. I always had a good 6 inches until ED. Then the RPS and all that I didn't use it very much so atrohy set in and I lost a good two inches. It still gets hard but there's still not a lot to work with. My wife gives an excellent BJ and Hand job. I'm handy with my tongue and hands so we both get satisfied. So as you already know we are all different, so I guess I'm just saying you have to walk your own walk alone. But believe me, a little hard dick is better than a floppy one any day. I got this implant for me and no one else and I'm glad I did ten years later. As far as other people knowing if you have one or not, they must not be very observant if they can't feel three balls. Especially when one is hard as a rock and shaped like a pineapple. I had a masseuse in Florida that I went to several times. Always got a good happy ending. He said he could feel the implant but it was pretty close to normal. ( yes I did repay the happy ending) So get it done, I doubt very much you will be sorry. But listen to your doctors instructions and follow them. Guys on here are awesome but they are not doctors. Good luck to both of you.
