If you don't have erection, you probably have less libido because you don't get aroused from your penis' sensation, I mean, there is less or no sensation.
The question is:
Once you have the IPP, when you pump it up, do you have the sensation of a real erection and automatically feel from it as an erected penis does? (apart from the fact that now you can penetrate your partner...)

I agree with Jacaro and Alex258.

My libido has always been sourced more from my mind than from my hormones. Even now with my testosterone suppressed to castrate level (hormone therapy to combat prostate cancer) and my implant non-functional (reservoir removed to gain access to the prostate for my prostatectomy) I still have the desire to please my partner sexually. And I get satisfaction sexually from so doing even though I do not get orgasms at the moment (post-surgical incontinence puts fellatio out of the question right now).

Yes, I have less libido since penetrative sex is impossible. But arousal by massage of my scrotum and other sensitive areas of my body is quite delightful and this does feed my libido.

I personally think it's more psychological than anything else. I lost my prostrate in 2020 and since they didn't get all of the cancer I knew I was headed for much rehab and on medication which would kill my testosterone level 100 percent. It remains at zero to this day and I would joke and tell everyone that if anyone's libido won't be impacted when I should have no libido well, I am feeling stronger then ever in that department and especially so because my implant works as advertised. As a man who has dealt with CPTSD issues I will say that when I am feeling depressed or heavy, I do kind of lose my libido but then again when I experience these down days I also have the cancer med working so in the end, to me it's basically psychological. It took time from the day of implant to feel any sensation. That took time. From what I remember regarding sensation, I'd say it was at least a couple of months of not feeling much when fucking. It's been great ever since. Coloplast Titan 18 months in no issues.

Then, that's the question.. having a working penis makes you feel like you want sex, of course it is your brain, but your brain needs the "tool" (although passive gay men may not need their penis as a tool, they go other way).
I use pills, normally my brain crave for sex all the time, but if my penis doesn't respond, I can't feel aroused, or if do, it last short term because I can't find the way to accomplish my wish.. so I end up feeling my sexual pretention as a nonsense.
In the other hand, even when I am not feeling any libido or need for sex, if I take a pill, as soon as start to feel its effect on my penis, my libido go wild... Its not the Viagra itself, it is the effect of having a working penis that calls the brain and awake libido.
So, i was wondering how it would feel having an implant: If you inflate it.. will you feel the sensation and a call for sex as having a natural erection does? Or, will you feel it just as a dildo without especial sensation, and then you need to work to find arousal and make the inflated penis work as an erected penis..
From what people says here, i think both things may happen, depending on the person and the circumstances..

I should have added that I do feel my penis rub against my clothes and it feels like I never lost my original one in the first place. Makes me feel like a man after not feeling this way for years. All i know is..it all took time to heal and to feel great again.

Yes, then the answer is: the fact of having a certain hardness and volume in your penis, even due to the inflated cylinders, makes you feel like a man and sexual. That's great news for me, it's not just an internal dildo, it really gives you a sensitive penis. I have to say that no matter how much testosterone I have, or how much I mentally desire sex, if my penis is shrunken and not working, I don't feel sexual at all. But thanks to the implant you will have a penis with a true sexual sensation.
55 y/o, Athletic and healthy but I need pills to have sex, lately I need higher doses and I have side effects... Mentally preparing for the implant, since I still have many years left to enjoy sex with my beautiful wife who is 24 years younger than me.

Not to mention the feeling of empowerment provided by a massive, weighty phallus waving out in front of my pelvis, especially when naked.

I got implanted 2 weeks ago by Dr Levine and all I can think about is sex! You certainly don’t lose your libido, you lose the fear of poor performance.
Implanted by Dr Levine 6/13/24. 22cm Titan classic, no rte. ED since my early 40s, former smoker, high BP and cholesterol, both well managed. Used pills then Tri mix until they stopped working.

That's right, when you know you will perform, or you see your dick ready to go, the you get crazy for it, otherwise you lack that big emotion.

Just a few minutes ago I was in bed with my girl, we weren't going to have sex, just take a nap, so I didn't take my pill (she knows, and when she wants sex, she tells me: go and take your pill, I want it ready in an hour...  ). But together we can't rest, we are too playful to rest, so I kissed, bit and licked all over her body. My cock swelled but it didn't get hard like to have sex, so we enjoyed the moment (that was just the intention) but I didn't go crazy like the impulse dominated me, I just felt anxiety to "eat" her body and a longing, knowing that in other circumstances I would have already consummated sex being prey to a strong impulse. It was time to get up and we each happily went to do our own thing, but for tonight the order is given to take a whole pill, not half a pill. Tonight under the effect of the pill, as soon as my cock is hard, my libido will work in a more unrestrained way, just from having and feeling my penis erect and ready to have sex. That is exactly what I have wanted to understand about having an implant, if the fact of knowing that your penis will be erect and hard, or just pumping it up while playing with her, will makes the libido awaken and unbridled, and stop being a longing inhibited by the lack of an effector organ.

I agree with most. It’s a LOT in the brain. While cycling to get things working you can have a rock hard boner with no feelings of excitement, dick is hard but mine was very oval. As healing improved and discomfort went away I started getting that feeling when pumped and soon was getting engorgement when aroused. So a hard implanted dick doesn’t make you horney…. But a hard dick can definitely lead to getting that way. Still takes arousment and a little cialis helps a lot. I stayed frustrated and depressed when I was fighting ED but that’s all a thing of the past!
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

At 63 I still had a good libido before the implant. The only change is knowing now, i can stay hard for all the activities.
