I have.an AMX CX 21CM. It works well and I like it. I have been leaving it inflated at about 90% every day. I do not know I just like it that way. Will this hurt me or is it ok to keep it inflated all week? It does not bother me it just feels good.

Re: Can I leave my implant pumped up for several days?
The risk of keeping it inflated indefinitely is that the reservoir can get limited by scar tissue and you won’t be able to deflate even if you wanted to.
I know of one case where this happened. A guy with arthritic hands who found it too difficult to operate his pump. He stayed pumped up and eventually couldn’t deflate.
That’s about the only risk I could see.

Re: Can I leave my implant pumped up for several days?
I agree with Goodwood. They are designed to go from zero to max inflation just to prevent the reservoir encapsulation. I know it might not sound like a big complication right now. But honestly, why risk it? Fixing the encapsulation at the easiest that I can think of is to just deflate it. Which it might not do because of the scar tissue. Then find a new spot for its replacement.
Similar thing can happen to breast implants. Its my understanding that sometimes the breast implant gets compressed so bad that its painfull. Not saying that is possible on an IPP reservoir but again. WHY CHANCE IT??
My non professional advice is to use it as designed. Lots of smart people were involved in its design. They might accidently know something.
But really, good luck either road you decide to travel.

Buzzer, I understand that you like the feeling but of being inflated 90 percent. My doctor said it is critical that you fully inflate and fully deflate when you start cycling to help the formation of the surgical capsules, for the implant tubes inside the corporal body of the penis, if you don’t fully inflate the implant to the max you’ll lose length because the capsule will only be the size of your 90 percent inflation. It’s the same for the reservoir, if you don’t deflate during the months of cycling the surgical capsule will be too small for the reservoir to accept all the saline.
My doc had me inflate to the max 20 minutes a day in the shower and deflate to the max by squeezing all the saline out of my implant. I went above what my doc said and did inflation and deflation twice a day.
Good Luck Buzzer with what you decide,

Re: Can I leave my implant pumped up for several days?
At first, I did deflate fully. But the dog ears even with a LGX were uncomfortable. And I had some trouble with auto inflation. I would deflate fully then add a pump or 2 to help with the dog ears and lock the pump to stop any more auto inflation. First 2 years I was cycling 2x a day for an hour each time and then also for sex. Sometime in the last 3-4 years or even more the pump straightened out and no more auto inflation and the cylinders softened for no more dog ear discomfort. Now what I do is press the deflate button until it is in full deflate mode and that is all I do. I just let it deflate on its own. This feels good to me and if I do not inflate for several days, it will again have a bit of discomfort and will be a bit of a problem pulling out to pee. So I will add a few pumps. Most likely it will be close to a Titan flaccid. But may just a little less. I can have that Titan flaccid if I put 4-5 pumps in it. And it will want to point up a bit. I do not use mine as much these days as I did in the beginning. Guess I am balancing things out for all the extra cycling I did early on to restore some of my lost size. 6 years on all the parts and still working well.
I will agree with the others to deflate fully early on. You can add a pump or 2 if you have trouble with dog ears or auto inflation. This as stated already will give tissue around your reservoir a chance to heel with a full or nearly full reservoir. And cycling every day or even 2x a day will help with size. Your CX will expand in girth, and you may see some gains in girth over time. After 6 months everything will be healed, and you can where it any way you want. I would not wear an implant 100% for much more than an hour or so. If you are doing marathon sex, just give it a break and deflate it for a bit while you are taking a break. You can then inflate again when ready to start back in. Just a bit of deflation will help with blood circulation. I at times had cold glans from lack of circulation around the hour mark.

Re: Can I leave my implant pumped up for several days?
Thanks everyone for your input. A reason I left it inflated was because I am recovering from a broken left arm. For me it takes two good hands to inflate to max. My left arm and hand is severely restricted in pumping. Based on this input I will deflate now and just have to wait until my left arm heals up to inflate again. I cycled religiously during the first 6 months post implant, then stopped because I did not see much improvement after 6 months. Shitty situation all around.
I never dreamed that my left arm would be broken. I fell in a parking lot and broke my left arm at the shoulder. I am in pain every day. It has gotten better lately, but I am probably 6 mm months from full recovery.
I was stunned how much my body needs both arms to do simple motions like getting out of a chair, open my car door and many other things
Breaking my arm has had cascading effects, for the most part I am crippled.
Again thanks everyone for the input.

Buzzer, I must have missed that you’ve been cycling for 6 months. All your surgical capsules should already be formed.
So I don’t see a problem with you keeping it inflated now.
Sorry about your broken arm, bummer.
I hope I don’t have a break like that, I road bike cycle and I’ve had some crashes in the past but I’ve never broken anything.
Heal up quickly Buzzer,

I went ahead and deflated my implant. My arm is s very slowly healing, and hopefully will be able to pump it up when needed.

Re: Can I leave my implant pumped up for several days?
As per Dr. Perrito- I have read that there are a couple major reasons for anorgasmia:
1. Leaving the implant inflated.
2. Ageing.
I would assume that each could be related to loss of sensitivity.
