Questions about revision-cycling & recovery

Hi, I’m coming up on my revision surgery. Dr. Eid is swapping out my Coloplast for another one after my tubing failure.

1. Is cycling as important as after the first surgery?

2. Anyone with a revision experience size changes and does the penis return to previous implant size with aggressive cycling?

3. Anything unexpected with your revision?

Dr. Eid did my revision two months ago. I had to wait six weeks before cycling due to a swollen scrotum,otherwise I would have started three weeks, not three days after surgery if the scrotum wasn’t swollen. And I didn’t have to keep the penis upright after surgery since it was a revision. I felt the initial recovery was less painful than the first time, regarding your length question, I can’t answer that at this time. Cycling instructions are the same, though I would confirm all your questions to his staff, I found them very knowledgeable. Both implants were the Titan Classic.

Tomorrow will be 1week with my revision, my scrotum was not nearly as painful as the original, nor was it as black and blue as the first time. What is still aggravating is the glans, so I take plenty of Tylenol and been reading to mix it up with a nsaid every other time. I only took 1 pain pill and that was the night I came home, so I would definitely say the revision is easier. I go back in a week and then we start the cycling process, today in the shower I could feel the deflate valve on the pump, I also tug it and move it around (gently). As far as size I don't think I have lost anything but I am partially inflated so I can't answer that, it doesn't matter though as I am happy to get a working pecker again and can't wait to use it. Good luck on your revision and don't forget to ice, helps a great deal.
