I saw a YouTube video where the Indian doctor bends the Tactra malleable right on the operating table. The patient looked like he's in his 20s though! Incision is still incision. Better safe than sorry!

I am really questioning now why the surgical team put Dermabond (a surgical adhesive used to approximate wound edges) on my fresh penile corpectomy incisions. Removing this hardened glue that is matted with dried blood is not for the weak-hearted. OUCH!!!

Dr. Paulo Egydio in Brazil, a high-volume malleable implanter, now seems to prefer Tactra due to the failures he has seen from silver wire fractures in older models like the Genesis.

Now, is Coloplast following an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality, or are they not investing in advancing their malleables?

I'm really interested to see how Tactra and Rigi10 establish a track record in the coming years and only time will tell!
