I’m not sure? It will straighten nut always seems to go back to a slight, left banana curve?

From what I've heard, the malleability of the rods should improve after 6-12 months. It might be too early to expect curvature corrections or bend memory features when the spring back is strong, the rods are not broken in, and the tissues around the implant have not yet settled.

Even in the “erect” position my malleable just flops down towards the floor. I have a coloplast genesis. Nothing about feels rigid or like an erection unless you squeezed my penis. I’m 2 months out of surgery. I like the way it feels compared to the IPP in terms of not having a pump or tubing but… is something not right?

Coloplast Genesis was measured to have 2 lbs of axial rigidity.

Rigicon Rigi10 is being marketed with 6.6 lbs, and Boston Scientific Tactra with 6.1 lbs of axial rigidity.

While 2 lbs of axial rigidity is excellent for penetration, will Coloplast upgrade the axial rigidity of their product? Their design has remained unchanged since the 1980s.

Solid rods will experience a gradual decrease in axial rigidity over the years due to material fatigue. The malleability on the other hand will keep getting better as time passes by.

if im standing ,mine falls to the left . if on on my back and pull it up it falls to either side about 30 degrees . neither standing or on my back will it stand straight up or out on its own .
this is where the inflatable is probably better ...when it works .
as far as the stiffness that i was able to compare first hand. the tactra was surprisingly stiffer than the rigi10 .
unless... the doctor, who was obviously is pushing the tactra over the rigi10 ,had worn out the rigi10 stiffness somehow .
and thats not so far-fetched since when he gave me the 2 different brands for myself to be able to compare them, the rigi 10 had one rod broke at mid shaft , making comparing the 2 functional rods of the tactra it the one good rod of the rigi10 mute
so I used one rod of each .and the tactra was noticeably stiffer . to bad it does not come in 14 and 15 mm rods .

hmm ,interesting . they implanted yours at the end of the shaft ,near the glans . While mine was inserted through the scrotum . And would never need to worry about flexing the incision while bending down for concealment after the surgery . while your incision area seems like its more prone to possible damage from bending and movement . this must be the reason for different recommendations on when it's safe to bend it .
but maybe there is less damage to the spongy tissue with the method they used for you? resulting in less gloss of girth ? and i think the method they used for you would allow the rods to be installed nearly straight without needing to fold them near the scrotum to be implanted . it seems the rods could be pushed in straight , and back far enough to insert the rods inside the penis , then pull them forward into the glans , never needing to bend them at all ?
i have no idea .
Although i do have a page booked marked that says its best to NOT use dilators to expand the penis and where to place the rods .

Interesting. I thought the Rigi10 stainless wires are strong and unbreakable as opposed to silver wires.

Rigi10 was tested only for 50K bend cycles, whereas Tactra passed the 100K cycle test. In the long run, I feel Tactra may be more durable. Only time will tell, of course, we have to take the marketing claims by the manufacturer with a grain of salt.

I have no frame of reference but from day one my cock has had a banana curve that points to my left leg. Even when I forcibly straighten it out, it inevitably curves back to its former position after a short while. Also, the patient video for the Tactra, instructs the man to pull the glans upward for penetration during sex but mine is more of a left side moved to center. Anyone else experience this?
