Somebody Help Me!
Somebody Help Me!
Ok, now I am at day six after dual implants, AUS/IPP. Things have gone pretty much as I thought based on others, Matt, Genone et al. But it is still difficult to get comfortable for very long. In the mornings, after spending most of the nights comfortable, aching makes me get out of bed. An too often, I think, something starts poking in the scrotum and I have to re-adjust my new parts, the pumps and tubes. Nothing seems more than just a little sore anymore but it can and does get very uncomfortable in the scrotum. It seems the most sensitive aand sometimes painful is the base of the penis that is located in the scrotum. I haven't noticed much day to day improvement since about day three or so. So my question is about when do things start to get comfortable?

Re: Somebody Help Me!
Ron, sorry your having the uncomfortable time. I suspect that it is probably normal. You have had a lot of stuff done down there. Are you taking anything for pain still?
Do keep us posted.

Jeff, still on pain pills even though I may not think I need them as they don't do much for the pokey type pains or the discomforts I am left with now. Bigest problem might be is that I feel great and just this one little area of my body is holding me back, maybe that's a good thing? On more thought annoyed is more how I feel. Anoyed that i can't do anything and annoyed that little pokey things seem to be jabbing me.

"Hang" being the operative word, Ron. Maybe walking would help. Perhaps gravity is the best therapy at this point. But then I got my medical degree from Wal-Mart, so call the doc if it's really serious.

In a month you wont even notice anything in there. I know this from my experience .. You're only 6 days out ... too soon to be comfortable ... Direct your mind to something else for now, in stead of focusing on that part and let the body heal itself ... Best Wishes to you Ron. Find a book and read it to wait for the days to go by .. it helped me.
Re: Somebody Help Me!
I got up at 4AM today aching in the penis base around where my new little tubes enter the cylinders. So, yesterday I wore the jock strap and the fight in the scrotum is betwen rounds as the combatants have retired to their corners, no doubt resting up to come up and finsh one or the other off by TKO. Now, the penis ache. That has happened the last few mornings ending nite night way too early. I am guessing it is some type of nocturnal or morning errection trying to happen and causing the ache. I thought that after a week (today) I'd be cool. Now I am lowering my expectations to two weeks. I sound like some of the guys on Healing Well PC forum wanting to know about incontinence or sex a couple of days after having their prostate removed. Oh, well read some more books or something.

Ok, it's day 9 since being implanted. The boxing ring ( my scrotum) is calming down as the combatants seem to be growing weary of the fight. They still throw a punch or two now and then. The only concern so far is some bumpy areas on my penis, one on the right side where the inflatable part of the cylinder transitions to the solid tip of the LGX and another on the left side just above the point where the fill tubing enteres that cylinder. I and hoping that these will disappear once the cylinders are fully imflated and then deflated. Possibly they are wrinkes caused by folding up the partially inflated unit. These don't appear to be anything that will effect the overall result but I was thinking my penis would be completly smooth. I will discuss this at my two follow-up next week. Other than that things are going forward, albeit slowly.
