Anyone taking TRT injections and have sleep apnea. I understand that testosterone cream treatment can make sleep apnea worse.
I am 72, ED for 25 years, Viagra then Cialis, then Trimix, then Trimix + daily Cialis. AMS 700 LGX installed June 6, 2024-21cm + 3 RTE

I'm in a weird place right now, and I would like your advice or opinion.

I got ED at the start of covid. I was in China at the time and couldn't get the proper treatment as all the specialists and the Urology Hospital in Shanghai was under lockdown. It was a strange time, and a lot happened. I got ED as a result of alcohol abuse mixed with Lexipro (anti-anxiety and anti-depression medication) - well, that's my theory at least. To this day, doctors don't know what caused it.

I digress...

I am in a good place now. I got an implant in Feb 2024 and got married about two months ago.
The problem I'm facing now is that I have a very, very VERY low sex drive...

My sex drive was healthy or average before ED. I thought the implant would help with my sex drive or libido, but it hasn't. My wife has a high sex drive, and although we have sex (not very often - because of me), I'm not driven by sex as I used to be. It almost feels like it has become a chore... I hate it.

I approached a doctor, and he tested my testosterone, and the results came back saying everything was fine. I don't know what to do. I want my sex drive back to normal, and I am unsure how to approach this situation or who to talk to.

Has anyone gone through something like this?

Let me know if you need more details to make it more clear.
Any and all advice will help.
Thank you.

Getting your T up is a good idea, or you could try just HCG and what would work for most people is pt-141 4 hours before sex. I would recommend T but you need to take hcg with it and most likely an AI to keep estrogen in check. Estrogen ranges are different for everyone, even with a great clinic you will need to do some trial and error to get dialed in.

Pt 141 you can use by itself but is short acting. Almost guaranteed results from it though.

Can anyone tell me more about this PT-141? What pharmacy is legitimate for this? What's the dose you inject and how often? Looking it up online I see a lot of places it's available but I wonder if some of it is bogus.

I have the exact same problem as the OP, SSRIs have ruined my sex drive as well it never recovered and it's been 30 years now since I was on them. I'm on testosterone replacement with levels in the 800 range and still no sex drive and I also have an implant.
50 yrs old. E.D. issues started around age 35, combo venous leak/testicular failure. Bilateral testicular implants for severely atrophic testes. Implanted 6/11/20 Dr. Kramer LGX 21cm + 1.

I would goto a hormone replacement specialist, doctors go by what ever the numbers say. If your 400 level a typical gp will say your fine. A hormone replacement doctor will bump you to 800 with pellets most likely and it will make a big difference from my personal experience.

You owe your wife whether you want to or not. Pump it up and do your duty. Me like most men have the opposite, wife doesn’t want it as much as most men, its the lower sex drive partner that needs to make the concession. Its very selfish to have a cock that your wife wants to not give it to her….. unless she is 500 pounds, there better be a good reason other than you just dont feel like it. If your out of shape, use your mouth or toys…. Or just divorce if you want a roommate.

Oregon Strong, I am going to have blood work tomorrow to check my T levels, I spoke with him briefly about what he prescribes for low T and he is all in about using pellets, says that is the best thing to use to help keep levels more steady. My question is side effects, did you have any issues with pellets? Do they last up to 6 months before you need to go back and have some more implanted?

Hi there, it would be nice to now your age, also the doctor said your testosterone is OK but what were your numbers, many doctors don’t know what they are talking about.

How about your energy levels, how do feel about projects, life adventure, doing things in life, whats your mood.

Are you hot for your wife, were you hot for her before, why did you get married… are you hot for other women, just throwing some questions at you to try to get a broader picture from you.

Good luck

I would recommend starting with a short acting ester, testosterone propionate, with 250-500ius of hcg every other day. The pellets are the longest acting and i lost 90% of my sexual desire and they are 1/4 of the old size. Cum loads were way lower, hcg has fixed most of my issues. Hcg tells your nuts to produce testosterone along with many other needed hormones, you dont want them to shrink, min did big time on pellets. With a short acting ester you can increase or lower your T based on how you feel… alot of men need an estrogen blocker while on trt.

Change docs if he didnt recommend hcg in my opinion. Pt 141 and proviron would be fun short term adds for a trt protocol once you get dialed in.

Testosterone is not enought, you need hcg and if you took ssris, maybe a cycle of proviron. For pt-141 start with .5-1mg, if your good at 1 stop, going above 2mg the side effects with get strong, flushing, nausea maybe headache. I would recommend running 500ius of hcg every other day for a couple months before adding anything else, maybe an estrogen blocker depending on your estradiol levels.

Cotex labs is a youtube channel, spend some time there.

Whats your quality of life like? Im gonna guess your stressed out alot. You dont have to be super horny to have sex but if your experiencing stress when you having sex your gonna want to have sex. Do you ever give your wife a long back massage? You dont have to be horny to give her a back massage but if you feel stressed out and detached your not going to want to touch another person. Have you been working out? 30 mins of high heart rate exercise a day helps reduce stress and gives a natural high. Do you do anything to work on your stress? Go outside and enjoy nature. Take vacations. Enjoy a hobby. If your just miserable all the time your not going to be able to be intimate with your wife. Dont just blame your libido, you need to attack this problem in a holistic way. Id imagine if you improved your quality of life your libido would come back in some measure. Any ways satisfying your wife dosnt take having a libido. All you have to do is be present in the moment during sex and not feeling anxious.

You can still use Cialis which can help with engorgement, theres also something else that helps with libido called PT-141. Some times people with depression take adderall which is a stimulant that can increase libido. Maybe putting on some muscle would make you feel more masculine. If you see yourself has a alpha male you will feel more deserving of sex and more of a sextual being.
