Thanks but not my birthday .. Had this one since 6-2024 the one before 6-2023 and it did bend the rods are the same diameter as before 13mm I have heard rods 13mm and larger are almost impossible to bend. For the most part you don't notice you have an implant unless it gets in a bind in your underwear or clothing. Nothing has changed in my life since the implant except for the fact the current implant will not bend so hard to lay on my belly on a hard surface. It's also harder to hide and it took much longer for the pain to go away which all of it still has not gone away.

Are all malleable implants the same, or are some easier to bend than others?

I think the Coloplast Genesis has a reputation for having the best bend memory, but the diameter of the rods would also be influential

Are you thinking of exchanging your IPP for an MPP?

I have my surgery on 12/9 and I'm scheduled for an AMS IPP, but I'm strongly considering getting an MPP instead after recent posts I've read. I'm scared to death of complications from repeated surgeries
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is sexual health expert Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. I also have mild BPH

That was pretty insightful of you, Mark1974. Yes, I am considering--at some point--of switching from IPP to MPP. I'm on my first IPP and I have an incredibly buggy pump. Not only that, but I don't really like having to pump and cycle for an entire hour out of my day. Yeah, the thought of revisions is annoying too. I really just want a "one and done."

That said, I am a "size king," and the thought of losing a cm is something to consider. At least for me.

is simple why, now your implants are longer but also you have more scar tissue than before due to revision surgery thats why is harder to bend

This is how the Tactra, Rigi10, and Genesis rods spring back after being bent to 180 degrees. This is the best case scenario!

However, after one is implanted, the penile tissues provide resistance and tension, which causes the bending ability and spring-back effects to vary widely between individuals.

Once implanted, the penis can typically only be bent to about 90 degrees (if it can), and the resulting memory will only be proportional to that lower bending angle.

Yeah, this seems to be standard. The tradeoff might be worth it, however. How's your concealment?
