Still very sore and aching in the scrotum. My scrotum is sensitive to touch and I'm not looking forward to seeing the surgeon tomorrow for a little deflation. His instructions call to take 2 percocets an hour before the visit so I guess it will be a memorable event. As long as I stay in recliner with ice packs I'm pretty comfortable and really don't need any pain relief. I guess it's just a matter of time before swelling and aching goes away.
ny guesses on how long that may be ?

Mine was about 4 weeks for all the swelling to go down. I know that 4th week was really amazing to how much I healed.

Walt,
I am sorry I have missed your phone calls. I haven't returned your calls because I don't want to wake you from a nap and also since there is a 3 hour time difference between us, by the time I get home from work, I figure you're resting for the evening.
I agree with others who have said that week 4 is the time when you should see a significant difference in pain and begin feeling that your healing is going OK. Until then you might continue to feel aches and pains in various parts of your body. I can't comment about the doctor deflating the unit and how it will feel. My surgeon deflated mine about 21 hours after surgery, before I left the hospital ( I stayed overnight). Since the anesthetic was sill somewhat in affect, the deflation pain was minimal for me.
I work the rest of this week from 3 am - noon (MST) so I would be available afternoons or early evenings if you wish to talk to me.
You're about a week closer to the freedom of pain and the excitement of the future.
