Hi guys,
I've been dealing with very weak erections due to poor blood flow. Unfortunately, medications like sildenafil and tadalafil cause severe headaches for me, and I'm not considering an implant at this time.
My doctor suggested Bimix injections, but the initial low dose had no effect. I'm planning to discuss a higher dose during my next appointment. Living in India, Trimix isn't available here.
Has anyone with similar issues found success with Bimix? I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.
Thanks!
Does bimix work for severe ED?
Re: Does bimix work for severe ED?
There's no way to know in advance whether alprostadil (PGE1) mono-mix, bi-mix or even tri-mix will work for you until you try it. If stright alprostadil (PGE1) mono-mix is available to you then that's what I'd try first. There seems to be a little less risk with it. However, I'd think the proper bi-mix formula should have at least nearly as good of a chance of working as the other options. All are dependent on both the mix formula and the dose. The mix formulas and strengths can very widely as can the dose.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

I do not know the strength of my bimix, it is sometimes referred to as being at the “silver” level. Anyway, I use 30 units, and it works.

Did you get a pre-filled syringe? It sounds a bit weird that your doctor would not discuss the course of the treatment with you. If you only injected once, it could also be that you did not inject properly.
Here in the Netherlands you get a prescription for a set of 5x 2ML (Papaverine 15mg/ml & Phentolamine 0.5mg/ml) and a pack of 2 ml syringes. My urologist told me to start low and up the dosage after each time until I find the right dosage to give me a good erection. I tried a dozen times. So even if my aim would be bad, one of them should have hit the spot. Turns out that it doesn't work for me even at the whole 2ml.
