new guy

Hi every one, first time posting just joined (is that the right word) Found the site accidentally clicked on a link on another site and well here I am. Very encouraging to read the experiences of others and to be able to ask questions. E.D in not the usual thing to talk about with your best bud! Will post again soon. Thanks everyone. ;)

Welcome "New Guy"....this site has become a god sent to many of us...the information and support are invaluable..Yea I agree..you're not about to sit around having a beer with your best buds talking about ED.....I find this forum to be a safe place to vent, ask questions and just obtain information..we've all been there..so welcome...
70 year old legally separated retired health-care professional. ED began in my early 50's. Viagra worked great for about 5 years, then had cardiac by-pass surgery and eventually moved to injections about 10 years ago.

Welcome. I believe you will find this site very helpful.

You are very right, ED is not something you just start talking about with your buddies, however I think it is much more common now than in times past. As I planned my IPP surgery and then completed surgery I needed some sort of "cover" for trip to hospital, loss of work, etc....and being from very small town gossip could hurt me and most especially my wife. In my rural area the idea of a penal implant would be "outrageous". I shared the real truth to very, very few, but there were those that I did tell that I was having some uro surgery to help ED. Amazing how many men near my age really perked up and seemed truly interested. There was just so much interest and all of a sudden guys were admitting to having problems.....and wanted help.

One thing for sure, there is help out there.
