Hey guys, I've got a couple of questions for you.
I'm 9 weeks post op and I realize I'm still healing. I know the healing process takes about a year. Maybe these issues will resolve over time.
At my 6-week post op follow-up with my surgeon I had several questions to ask her (Dr Kadee Thompson) but didn't get satisfactory answers. The visit was a huge disappointment but maybe you can help me out.
Is it unusual to have one cylinder longer than the other? I do and it pushes into the head and gives it a tilt to the left. When I asked her about it her response was basically that it didn't look too bad, that the area where the tip was extending to was spongey and could handle it, and to call her if it ever gave me a problem. WTF!
One of the other questions I had was about the TENACIO Pump. I told her I had experienced a popping and clicking sound coming from it when inflating and deflating. This only happened a couple of times. Has anyone experienced this? She told me not to worry about it and not to fixate on minor problems.
The final big issue I had was on reinflation (auto inflation). To deflate it I squeeze the hell out of my dick to get it so empty that it is flat, but after a few minutes my penis is moderately inflated to about 50%. When I asked her about it, she didn't believe me and told me it was very rare defect. If it was true, she said she had no solution for it. She pumped it up herself and then deflated it. When it didn't reinflate right away, she dismissed the issue all together. It still happens. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal?
I won't get into other concerns as I'll save them up for another post. However, your responses could help a friend who is getting the procedure done soon by the same surgeon. It's confusing because she's high volume and has many highly regarded recommendations.
Thanks for your time!

shit, Sounds like a done deal, but once healed, possibly fixable. hang in there. as long as it doesnt hurt, and it works, that is definitely a bright spot

Re: 9 weeks Post Op -- Mismatched Cylinder Lengths and other Issues
Travis, I have a Tenacio pump and when deflating I feel, more than hear, a click when I first depress the deflate button. Sometimes I feel some vibration while the fluid is moving -- but not every time. But, I have to keep the deflate button depressed while deflating. Mine is not "one touch". It does not make noticeable sounds while deflating. I can partially relate to your auto-inflate concern. When I'm done deflating I'd say I'm 10-15% inflated. When I wake up in the morning it feels like 30-35% -- kind of like morning wood
. I'm a side sleeper, and have wondered if my legs are micro-squeezing as I move around in my sleep ?
I understand why you don't like her answers. IMHO, they sound like a lack of ownership over the results of her work.
Do you have to keep the deflate button depressed while deflating, or is yours "one touch" ?

Wow, one cylinder longer than the other and she blows it off... Do you know how many rte's she used? On each cylinder? After you deflate do you give your pump a quick squeeze to reseat the valve, I have had both the titan and LGX and both with me refilled unless give it a quick pump to seat the valve. As far as sounds, so far my MS pump on the LGX has been quiet, with the Titan however it was a squeaky toy, really it would squeak, wife would laugh like hell. I did and do feel the fluid when I am deflating. I use nitric oxide supplements daily, it helps with blood flow and oxygen throughout you body and it definitely helps me with blood flow to my glans.

Hi Chuck and thanks for your feedback!
I have to continue to hold the button down while I'm squeezing the saline out. And it's funny as I can hear a slight squeal as the fluid passes through the valve. When I wake up in the morning, I too am more inflated than when I went to bed. I feel better that I'm not alone in that regard. And I agree with you, she sounded like she didn't want to take ownership for the cylinder lengths.
Best regards,
Travis

Re: 9 weeks Post Op -- Mismatched Cylinder Lengths and other Issues
Hi Wilsonmill,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I'm sorry but I don't recall what a RTE is. In any event I don't have numbers or stats about how many of anything she's done. She said she's lost count and the surgery center staff where she performs the procedure claims, she's done thousands while other said in the high hundreds.
I have tried squeezing the pump to reset the valve as I've read about that elsewhere. Unfortunately, it hasn't made a difference. I'll try a couple of more times though in case I didn't squeeze hard enough.
Thanks,
Travis

Sorry Gentlemen If I'm not getting the quotes and responses to the right people. I had changed the sort order, and that got me a bit confused.

T.H.
I am by no means an authority; having said that, it is my understanding that the cylinders may be slightly
Different length into the Crus but should be close to equal into the glans. Perhaps a second opinion
Would be an option.

Re: 9 weeks Post Op -- Mismatched Cylinder Lengths and other Issues
Titan Inflatable here. I'm 7 months post-op from the implant and 3 months post-revision. My cylinders are mismatched when deflated but in good even form when fully inflated. When I went in for revision, it was to free up the pump in my scrotum; it had originally healed fused to my testicle with scar tissue, so squeezing the bulb or release valve meant uncomfortable pressure on the testicle. The revision freed it up. As a side note, I can feel what seems to be a coil of tubing in the sack now; weird but I can live with it.
To the point of uneven tubes in the deflated state, my right tube has a bulbous nodule near the glans, and the left has a similar nodule near the base, it's almost like I have two left tubes installed, with the right side flipped end to end, instead of a left and right mirror pair. The result is a funky looking flaccid dick that is swollen on one side and curves the gland to the left. When I asked my surgeon about it prior to the revision he said he'd look into it. But post-op, he hadn't touched the tubes and when I asked, his response was, oh well, live with it. I get it, replacing the tubes is the most damaging and risky part of the procedure, but I feel like he doesn't want to own up to botching the install. The bulbous nodules are uncomfortable when deflated, so I tend to leave myself pumped up to about 30% most of the time.
I will say, when inflated, the bulbous nodes aren't distinguishable in either tube and there's no discomfort. And while I am maybe an inch shorter than my youthful length, I'm still long enough and the girth is as good as new. More importantly, my lover is very satisfied and sex now is carefree.
