I’m getting ready to start my consultations with surgeons. Am feeling a bit nervous (what if I get an infection? What if it erodes? What if my malleable causes tissue thinning and it eventually needs to be removed? … the usual nonsense). Trying to stay positive and focused on the potential great things an implant could do for my sex life.

Hey! Everything is going great. I almost can't believe it but I'm almost 5 months in (140 days) since the implant. Everything is going great!! I totally understand your concerns, but I really think you should take the risk and go for it. No reward is without some level of risk. Definitely try to stay positive. Do what you can to ensure you get a great surgeon and take care of yourself well at home. This remains the most important thing I've ever done for my relationships, my mental health, my quality of life!!

Well I did ask for it. :)

Good to see it looks sturdy. Yours is thick too, I think I'm looking at 11 mm rods since my penis is more petite. It has me contemplating requesting the Tactra since my surgeon is pretty open to patient requests, but you guys with the Genesis seem content and that is Dr Levine's suggestion if I get a malleable (talked to him last Tues)

As far as size of the implant, the surgeon will give you everything he safely can without chances of complications I'm sure.
And as far as the brand, I don't know, I wouldn't have to be married to the idea of a Genesis, they have been around the longest I think, but at the same time I the other brands have pro's and cons too them also.
I went with the Genisis because the surgeon recommended that brand,, that was the easy decision,,, the hard decision was a IPP or MPP, once you make that decision I guess I would leave it up to the surgeon as to what he mainly use's and recommends.

hello driver , we both have the 13mm rod size , and if i remember right you never lost any girth with the malleable , if so maybe because of 4 years of ipp use ?
oh and say your standing and you pull your malleable up parrallel to the floor or a higher angle , will it stay there ?
mine has dropped down from day one . it functions fine for sex , but i need to hold onto it for insertion in any position other than cowgirl . there with me on my back ,it will stand on it own , but tilt to either side a bit .

Sounds about the same here, I lost about a 1/2 inch of girth, and I didn't loose any length, it will hang at about 4 oclock when standing up
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.
For those that are asking, I'm going to change the wifeys avatar weekly.

Thanks for the reply, Duke! All excellent to hear, and appreciate your words.

I remember earlier in the thread, you talked about the fact that you needed to switch up your wardrobe a bit for comfort reasons (especially jeans). I work a white collar job where I’m pretty typically wearing dressier slacks and tucked in shirts 8-10 hours / day. From your experience so far - do you think that would still be okay with the MPP? I typically choose boxer briefs & dressier performance tech pants that are stretchy - they sound similar in fit maybe to the joggers you referenced switching to.

Would love your opinion - I like to think ahead!

Hey - you're definitely thinking ahead in the right way. Dressier slacks and tucked shirts are perfect. I personally dislike jeans now, because the fabric is so tense around the implant and I usually find it uncomfortable. I've gotten a little sore after a long night out. I definitely think you'll be fine with performance tech pants. Sounds ideal, really.

Thanks for that answer . its hard to get honest answers from doctors on malleables , my indian doc says its normal for it not to stay in the up position. i was originally under the impression it would have to be "bent" up ,like using a stiff hinge , but reality is far from that .
The only one,as far as i can see, that stays upright the most is the indian shaw malleable.

1955. I have had ED for years. We were going for a Rigicon Infla10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in.

Here's India's Shah Malleable 1 day after surgery. He is also sitting at 4 o clock from what I can tell.

hmmm , so no rusty ,sticking, creaking ,stiff hinge that has to bent up and it stays in place on any of the brands . I pull mine up ,and when i let go it drops right back down to resting on the ol balls . it is stiff though ,but needs to held in place to enter for the fun session .

The Shah seems great if you don't mind having a penis that sticks straight out 100% of the time lol
