Candidato?

Postby Bambino09 » Sun May 18, 2025 11:18 pm

Hi guys, I'm 32 years old. Am I a candidate for a malleable implant or will the corpora cavernosa erode when I get older and I won't be able to have sex?

As much as I'm tempted to say that "all things are possible in medicine".....like an asshole :D , I'll also say that there is no such official indication. Skilled surgeons minimize such risks by ensuring proper implant placement, correct sizing, and avoiding over sizing. As patients, we can support better outcomes by maintaining good blood sugar control, overall health, and preventing accidents or trauma.

If you're not less sensate as a result of spinal cord injury or terrible neuropathy, you are in good shape.

Have you consulted a center of excellence high volume surgeon for an evaluation of your anatomy and medical history for a malleable implant? That's where I would start. Surgeon selection is the key!
