Hi Raul
Re the sleep pattern I take a sleeping pill a couple of pain killers, place the ice pack under my scrotum in a comfortable position and keep it in place in some not too tight jocks and have been able to sleep for about 4 hours. I don't allow my self to lay in bed being pissed off if I can't sleep so after what ever sleep I can get I get up and have a cuppa, read for a while and then repeat the process as above except I don't take another sleeping pill and have been able to sleep for another few hours but mostly I have had my best sleep in the day time which is great for passing the time while I heal. You could try a pillow between your knees if you are on your side.
I suppose what I am really saying is that I don't want sleep or the lack of sleep to fuck with my brain.
Don't let sleep be the enemy, do the best you can and stay cool.
Cheers mate
Zac

Day 11
Still sore in the sac, trying to get use to the pump I have been told to pull on it daily as an exercise to get it to sit low to the centre for good access for the future. Gets a bit sore pulling on it but best to do what the doc suggests, he knows best.
I don't seem to have lost any sensitivity in my cock or the surrounding area, the only thing I am aware of with the cylinders is the tips at the base of the head, I can feel them from the underside but with no discomfort and of course the cylinders in the shaft maintain a very healthy girth and length while still flaccid, no shrinkage!!! which just feels horny and nice. still not allowed to pump as yet doctors orders, so hopefully the soreness will be gone or less by the time we start the pumping exercises.

Day 13
All seems to have gone well up till now, still putting up with discomfort in the scrotum, pump still feeling heavy in the sac. The wound is looking very tender had a show of blood from the stitches down the shaft and at the base of the penis, got concerned that the wound had opened but after bathing with salt water and drying it has stopped bleeding just looking tender. I think I was too aggressive with the pulling down of the pump that upset the wound, still having trouble getting hold of the bulb of the pump, very slippery, very tender to pull down actually very sore. The pump is low in the sac is that where it should be by the time it settles down ready for pumping and releasing?
I think I have been very strong up to date and coped well with the post op pain but this last day I have felt really uncomfortable down there, walking does cause a real drain on the crutch, first day out and about yesterday and I was totally stuffed by the afternoon, today I am feeling totally drained maybe not as ready as I though
Really happy to hear that Raoul is on the heal and coming along well.

I delayed my healing by scrubbing the incision too vigorously in the shower, which disturbed the scab. I finally had to have my uro re-suture a portion of the incision to close it properly and then it was all right. This whole thing probably delayed complete healing by a week.

Zac,

Good that everything is going well for you.
Carry on with your pulling the pump stuff. My doc says that's normal and is expected. He assured that it gets de sensitized over a period of time and then it would be good.

I'm experiencing the same things like you.

I'm not having any pain while lying down on the bed. Slight discomfort started since yesterday - Some wierd feeling as if something is coming out from my penis. Can't explain it.. No pain but discomfort. This feeling is not consistent and comes every now and then.
Also having strong urge to scrub my scrotum and incision site. I'm not doing that and definitely will not do that after hearing dg-Moore response on the scrubbing.
I think this urge is because of the growing hair.

Penis shaft and scrotum feels too heavy.
The incision site is good.

Real problem is when walking. It's becoming really really hard to walk with Errect penis for more than 10 minutes.
I'm lying down on the bed at least 21 hours for the last 5 days.

Pulling down the pump but it's sore. Scared to touch initily but warm baths are helping. Getting sore after pulling the pump.
My pump is at the bottom and I don't think it got stuck to my skin.

I can no longer wear the jock strap they sent me and its adding lot of discomfort at the scrotum.
Removed jock strap and I believe that should be OK as I'm lying down on the bed most of the times.
I'm wearing jock strap when going out or walking.

I'm scheduled for 1 week post op visit this Wednesday. The goal is to start pumping activity from that day.
I hope I recover well by that time and my scrotum gets desensitized by that time.

Zac

A few questions :

1) are you wearing jock strap?
2) are you lying most of the time or doing any walks? Did you figure out any tips while walking? Or do you think we should carry on with the walking so that the pain or discomfort subsides? Any thoughts ?
3) when do you plan to start your pumping cycling?
4) are you still inflated? how long you have to be with Errect penis?

Hi Raul
You seem to be catching up to me or maybe I am slowing down in my recovery. How long before you plan to head home?
Re the underwear, I was not required to wear a jock but to wear what ever was the most comfortable also I was not required to keep my penis in a north facing direction but could place it where it felt best. I have used a variety of briefs that support with a pouch that allow my package to sit comfortably or as best it can. Because of the feeling of a heavy weight in the sac I am now wearing a brief from Aussiebum it's their wonderjock with an inside pouch that lifts your scrotum and allows your penis to sit comfortable on top. Aussiebum are sold world wide and are on the web, I am finding the lift in the wonderjock a real relief.
As for the walking I did far too much on Saturday thinking I was all healed and back to my usual strength but by afternoon I was totally knackered and had to rest up yesterday to settle down again. My doc did say let your body tell you what and when you can get back to your normal activities and that rest could only do good at this time. So I plan to take it easy for a few days again.
I am back to pulling on the pump in the shower again still very sore but I think both you and I have the pump where it is suppose to be, down low in the sac, so I am concentrating more on feeling for the section to hold while pumping and the position of the deflate button. I have been told to Not try inflating or deflating until I have been back to the docs in 8 days and then that will only be for practice purposes before the doc will activate to full possibly two weeks later and if that all goes to plan then we are ready for the first day of the rest of our sex life. I still find the bulb of the pump very slippery and still causing pain to grab on to. Practice, practice!!
Re your erect dick, just how hard is it? My doc deflated mine to a semi erection before I left the hospital so it was not too hard to cope with re positioning and when I went back last week they deflated a bit more, now just feels like morning wood, so nice having no more shrinking, he feels and looks really good. I did have a painful itch at the head of my penis and the top of the foreskin that was very red, at first I thought it was the swelling but it turned out to be thrush a fungal itch caused from having so much antibiotics so now with the use of an anti fungal cream it has all cleared up in a couple of days and feels so much better. That's what was causing the head of my penis feeling so tender in the briefs, big relief!
Well Mate I think I have answered your questions
Will talk soon
I see we have a new guy on the mend
My best thoughts and wishes to you both

Zac,

I will be heading to home in a month.
I'm supposed to have two visits - 1 week and 3 week visits.
I will be leaving tomorrow to my friends place in Boston. Will stay there for about 3 weeks and then back to San Jose and then to home.

Right now even Im slowed down with my recovery. I think we have reached our thresholds.
As of now I still have some minor swelling in my Penis head.
Mine is 70% inflated so it's still uncomfortable especially while walking.
But I'm laying down on the bed almost 20 hours. So as long as I lie down I don't have any pain except some itchiness near incision site and scrotum.
I cannot feel the deflate button. I have a visit tomorrow with my doc to go through the pumping cycles.

I really wish I could start doing the pumping cycles from tomorrow as this would be save me additional stay.

My next goals are :
Walk without discomfort - I hope this goes away when I'm deflated
Feel deflate button and start pumping cycles
No swelling at Penis head

Will keep you posted.

Sounds like the Class of 10/14 is well on the road to recovery, let's keep it up guys, no set backs. With stage one behind us we now have the schooling to begin Seems like Raul is already jumping ahead, I am not getting to pump for another week my docs usual procedure but now I can take a few tips from you guys. All is feeling good down there only sensitive spot is the pump at least it is in the correct position my penis, balls and sac are all back to normal with full feeling, no nerve damage thankfully.
I have a few more questions for those that have been enjoying their return to manhood for sometime but will add a post to explain myself.
Bit busy at the moment but will get back with the specifics
Raul have a great trip to Boston
Cheers
