Wednesday 10 Dec Day 41/Thursday 11 Dec Day 42 - 6 weeks
I took care with the AM shower and didn’t squeeze the pump nor rub hard with a towel, so no bleeding. Uneventful day, thank goodness.
Thursday started off fine and is continuing as such. This is the first day since the bleeding that I haven’t applied Neosporin.
That said, my major concern is the absence of pumping (as per the doctor) and it has been 6 weeks. He originally said I should pump and leave it for a 15 minute duration a few times a day starting in the 4th week, but has told me not to due to the prior leakage and sensitivity of the scrotum. I see him Monday and I hope he will do that first pump and have me continue doing it. I don’t want to lose any centimeters, let alone inches due to the absence of pumping and stretching the penis/implants.

Sabaone, i know you have had a difficult time with this. If you ever have an implant again or for anyone considering, this may be an option to prevent the swollen scrotum, wraps, leaking and all that stuff. I read through it recently and it reminds me of a chest surgery I had that they used this. I had no issues. http://www.urologicalcare.com/pdf/EIDSu ... .15.13.pdf

Sabaone old mate so sorry you are going through these problems I don't understand what is happening but you seem to be well aware of what you are experiencing so I will trust in what you are doing but I will throw in a prayer just for added measure.
Wishing you a speedy healing
your old mate Zac

Zac, I appreciate your concern and words of comfort. You have truly been an inspiration to me and others. Part of your enthusiasm has rubbed off. In spite of the continuing problem I'm having (and you can see the next entry), I don't regret the step I've taken to bionic-hood!!

A long one.

Friday 12 Dec Day 43
Happily an uneventful day vis-à-vis problems.
Pain recap: None in the pubic fat area, and I can squeeze the penis with no pain. The glans are still sensitive when bumped or gently squeezed. The scrotum is light years better with just a spot or two of pain near the pump.

Saturday 13 Dec Day 44
There are times I feel I feel positive. There are times I feel despondent. Somehow I seem to have a black cloud over my head in recovery. I’ve had the leakages, the seepages, and sore balls and sac.
Last night I was out for about an hour, walking around in the cold wet weather (something I was obligated to do). Then we went to friends for dinner. The food and company were great, but the seats were hard as rocks. My perineum hasn’t quite recovered from the operation, and pressure on it and the testicles caused a lot of strong discomfort. On the 20 minute walk home, they were so sore I could hardly move. But move I did, not wanting to sit on some park bench for the night.

At home I took a couple of ibuprofen, and that helped a bit. I think the food was also giving me problems because I felt bloated, listless, and discombobulated. I would sit and imagine a picture, and I’d try to move object in the picture…things I’ve done before. They wouldn’t move.
I tried to lay in bed, hold my sac in my hands as the pressure felt good. It was then I realized that maybe my scrotum, even after the swelling went down from the beginning, needed more support than I was giving it with semi-snug boxers. I wasn’t up to doing much moving at that point.

Intelligently, I knew this wasn’t happening, but I felt as if my systems were deciding to shut down!
And then I passed some gas. And then more. As that happened, other than the scrotum, I started to feel better. My concentration returned. But the continuing discomfort forced me to get out of bed and try a comfortable alternative. I have no problem nodding off on the sofa!

I didn’t get much sleep during the night. I sat up part of the time on a soft sofa pillow and sometimes nodded off there. When I finally went to bed, I lay on my side and stuck a very thick and firm pillow between my legs to keep pressure off the sac since the sac would stick to my legs due to perspiration and that was uncomfortable. I held the sac to make it “feel” secure and managed to sleep till 2 in the afternoon.

I got up and we went to a friend’s. This time I put on some old bikini underpants I haven’t worn for at least 20 pounds ago. It felt much better walking with that support but it did nothing to alleviate the continual pain in the sac.

And that’s the crux of the matter. I see the doctor on Monday. He’ll listen to me and tell me he doesn’t understand why I am having these problems, others he has treated haven’t had them. Then he’ll manipulate the scrotum, causing me undue agony as it has in the past during his manipulations, and then tell me I’m not ready for pumping (which is what he said after 4 weeks). The two issues, as I’ve reiterated in past entries, is that the skin of the sac is very tender and gets sore easily (he had no suggestions, maybe I need to see a dermatologist except that I would expect someone whose whole profession deals with men’s bits to have some broader knowledge or understanding. The second issue is the tenderness of the balls.

And then maybe he’ll just say, “pain is part of the process, let’s get to pumping” and I’m fine with that…as a start.

Sunday 14 Dec Day 45
Not a good day. I had a fever for two days, in addition to strong scrotal pain (see above), and last night I had seepage that looked brownish on the pad I wore. This morning my patient and attentive wife checked the area of seepage and saw puss along the incision line. Previous visits to the doctor were fruitless since he said he couldn’t see any areas of problems in spite of my repeated detailing of leaks and scrotal pain.
Well today I called him and told him of the puss issue, the fever, and the chills. So he told me to come in 4pm (I called at9am Sunday is a regular workday here), and told me it sounds serious and I should bring a few things since he may put me in the hospital. I am not looking forward to this eventuality and regret I didn’t go to a surgeon in the States. If I were flexible enough, I’d be kicking myself in the ass 24 hours a day. I’ll update once I know more. :(

I'm writing from my cellphone in the hospital. I'll write more later when I have access to a computer. Simply put, they found a major infection
No longer bionic and may never be. Needless to say I am most distraught and angry. Thanks for all the support and happy relations - you are entitled. Sabaone - "Dennis
