My implant surgeon was Dr. Cathy Naughton. She is associated with Metropolitan Urological Specialists, and heads-up their specialty practice at the Center For Sexual Health.

alibaba, I just wanted to update you on my outcome. I did have my surgery Dec. 16 and it went well. I am almost 3 weeks post op and, although I have not seen the Dr, I did see his nurse to have my staples removed. She said my progress looked great. I see the Dr. in three weeks to be activated.
The Dr. told my wife right after surgery that I did, in fact, have mesh on both my hernia surgeries but other than the necessity for a second incision was a reality but it was not a problem. I didn't feel any discomfort at all with the second incision.
Have you found a surgeon yet? I know there has to be someone in your area.

Don't ever have a hernia repair or a prostatectomy or you are screwed getting an implant. See my other post for the reason why. Mesh. They use gortex in both. If you have had surgery down there, only rods or a 2 piece that "Will not deflate fully because the reservoir in the scrotum is too small to hold all the fluid in the cylinders, Will not expand in girth and will not expand in length, only get hard." 56 years old and I wish I had my prostate back even if all 4 lobes and the nerves were full of cancer.Most likely be dead now but better than the continuous letdowns for the last 5+ years.

I had hernia repair after my implant three years ago. The uro who did my implant recommended the surgeon who repaired my hernia with a mesh. I've had no problems.
