Osbon Rings, Size & tension and Number..

Postby palace01 » Wed Jan 14, 2015 2:35 am

My first (recent) experiment with a Cock Ring was with the Large ring that came with my order of an Augusta Vitality Manual Pump.
It seemed to work VERY well, and held the erection,,,, but as predicted by several people, the ring broke on the 2nd experiment.

Just about everybody here seems to agree that the Osbon Erecaid Tension Bands are a better choice.
So I ordered the "A" - Large Beige Standard Tension.

Although the diameter seemed identical to my broken Augusta Vitality ring, I have tried my new Osbon "A" three times now.
I don't seem to feel the initial snap and gorged pressure that the Augusta gave me, AND within a few minutes I started to lose the erection. So I guess I need something 'tighter' in the Osbon range?
Am I correct in thinking, that the next tightest would be the "Large- High Tension" and then the next tightest would be the "Medium - Standard "?
Maybe I need to buy a few different ones?? Do they stretch over time?

ALSO...
I see several people say that they use TWO rings at the same time.
As a Newbie can someone explain when and why this would be needed?
Surely if you need the tighter one, why would you also use the other one too?
Would you put the tightest one next to the pubic area or other way around?
Thanks Dave

You should measure your base girth. Generally speaking, If it is under 5.5", you should be using the medium, standard tension unless you have severe ED in which case the medium, high tension would be more appropriate. If it is 5.5" or above, the large, high tension may be more effective.

I can't help you with the two rings because I only need one.

Pal,

If you could get away with one ring -- good for you (and DT!).

I don't use pumped E's for actual intercourse use anymore, but when I do pump I always use two osbon rings -- just for the fun of it. I would say almost any two osbon rings will work well. The trick might be which to use that would be just at the limit of comfort for 10-15 minutes yet maintain a good working erection over that time. Usually that would be a large A or B + a small C or D. (And I am around the 5.5" girth size -- more than that fully pumped). I would usually use one biege and one pink or grey (the greys are supposed to be 'super stretchy' but i found that my only grey was the same as a pink D -- very strong).

See the pictures from a few months back on the rings, cones and penile sleeves and results if you have not already... almost anything you pick will produce good results. Also I do not think the osbons stretch out much over time. I have used some for over a year of hard use and still work as new. They do eventually break too .. but only after a long time of use. (the biege are a bit weaker in that respect tho .. )

Have at em ...

I want to share about the Osborn Pump and rings, I got the equipment after a demonstration. I was engaged with much pain in the doctors office with the equipment being installed by the sales rep for proper procedures. My penis gained a firm erection and beauty to behold. LOL
In the next three months trying to use and apply the rings without so much pain..Now I understood the only one to REALLY BENEFIT from the Osborn Pump was the SALES REP. Glad my insurance paid 100% so didnt feel bad when it was put out for trash pick up. For 150.00 co pay I have a new sex life with my penile implant and within seconds of pumping to have my old penis back for a long night of 20 year old's sex. The second honeymoon.

So you didn't like the osbon rings because of the pain and instead went for the implant?

On this site I have found, on occasion, that some men who have taken the huge step of getting an implant like to proselytize.
I notice it especially on Pumps, but maybe because that is where I visit the most.

It's common in the Injections sub-forum also. But don't say anything negative about implants.
