Time to give up?

Postby Epsilon » Fri Jan 23, 2015 1:40 am

So far, two prescriptions from my uro have failed to produce more than a 40% response. Pills stopped working after 15 good years. 1st Prescription was 30mg Papaverine - 1 Mg Phentol - 10 Mcb Prostoglandin, 2nd Prescription was 30 Mg Papervine - 1 mg Phentol - 20 Prostoglandin. I've been injecting 60 units. Time to give up or if not, any suggestions on what to try next?

Sounds a lot like my story. Great results with Viagra for years, but it suddenly stopped working. I tried injections (Edex, Caverject, Trimix) with no response to any of them. I finally got an implant after putting it off far too long. If you need an implant get it now - our sex life died while I dithered around deciding on the implant and we never recovered. I have had a fully functioning, unused implant since 2008.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.

I had about the same results as you with the trimix. I found out I have a venus leak so the trimix doesn't stay in the penis long enough. Reading on this site about a cock ring and trimix. I bought one from myhardwear.com (very graphic site) and used it in combo with the trimix. I put the ring on and then injected leaving the ring on for 10 minutes then removed it and got a good enough erection to have sex with my wife. It my be something to try.
