And, yes, if a man is able to become even slightly physically aroused pre-implant, that ability will continue post-implant. As we all know - at least those of us who have been out-and-about and lived a long time - some women are super-sexually attractive, while some aren't. Most ladies are somewhere in the middle. A man with an implant can get it up with all ladies, while with the "super-sexy" ones our earlier ability to respond kicks in and with those ladies we get a bit larger than what the implant provides. It's all good.

armstrong, that's the best news I've read since joining FT ! I have been really on the fence about going through with the surgery this information has helped me to decided to do it !

I've decided mine is 5" instead of 4.5"...it's been nearly eleven months since my 2nd implant. If I measure from the side, I get 5" so I'm gonna go with that....I don't think it has gotten any longer. Dr. Perito had me massaging the spot at the "top-base" of my dick where the incision was saying 'that's where you're going to get the last little bit of length'.

Am I disappointed? Absolutely not!!!! As I take my "oldest friend" and his little enhancement out to play I know we're going to have fun!

Agreeing with Rick and Billy...gee, I wish my dick was bigger (also that I were taller, richer, more handsome and even a tad smarter....)..... to be able to have sex is wonderful! Thank you Humana and Dr. Perito....!

I'm not happy. I lost an inch after prostate cancer surgery, and now have lost another 1.5" after the implant. Lost much girth too. I am extremely depressed over this. I have put dating on hold because I'm ashamed to whip out my skinny 4.5 incher. I think my surgeon put in tubes that were way too short.

I measured myself this AM and measure smaller than you. My wife and I are enjoying our best sex ever. So I hope you can get over the issue of lost length and enjoy what you have. The alternative is to remain angry, get bitter and hate your life as a prostate cancer SURVIVOR. You survived cancer. You became impotent. Now your're not. Think about that reality for a while.

That's good preaching there RR. I am so glad to be alive and not battling chemo and radiation. I will settle for a "little woody" and some good love making any day of the week. After years of ED this is gonna be a walk in the park. I really don't think a woman worth her salt will care if it is 4.5 or 5.5 if ya love and care for her the way you should.Ya'll have a blessed day. TC

RR & TC, I appreciate your pep talks. I just want to know why, with a vacuum pump the night before surgery, I was able to be twice as thick and 1.5" longer than after the implant. I need to know why this happened. Other men have checked in with a little smaller or a little bigger than before the implant. Why have I been reduced to the the size I was when I was 11 years old?? Sorry if I can't be happy with this, but I'm just not. Minus 2.5" since 4 years ago pre-cancer. Any man out there want to tell me he'd be happy losing two and a half inches and half his girth too? I'm waiting........ Still waiting........
