use of penile traction before getting implant

Postby dhenry » Sun Mar 22, 2015 11:18 pm

has anyone used a stretching device before getting the penile implant to help maximize your original penis length after surgery? also any suggestion how to use the penile traction device? thanks for your feedback.

dhenry - I'm presently using this - http://www.malehanger.com/ - not sure when/if I'm headed toward implant but like you, want to make sure I have as much length as possible if/when it happens. . . and if not. . . still happy to have every extra bit I can. Good luck! Rick

I use the grip system along with jelqing and a vacuum pump. I know it sounds like overkill but I only get two erections a week. That is when I take 100mg of Viagra and use a metal cock ring. two erections a week is not good. The penis needs to be expanded a lot more times than that if you want to maintain your length or increase it as I have.

Yes, I used the malehanger system every day for about a year prior to my implant operation. I gained about 1-1/2". I lost about 3/4" - 1" after the operation so I'm still ahead. My length now with a full erection is about 6-3/4" & I'm very happy with that. I have to admit that it's difficult for me to actually quantify the loss due to the operation because I really couldn't achieve a good erection prior to the operation - the gain in length I'm reporting was the change in the pressed-bone flaccid pull length.

Prior to the operation, I also used a vacuum pump and a very tight constrictor band a couple of times per week to achieve an erection suitable for intercourse.

It's been a little over a year since my operation & I'm very happy with the results.
