Planning on ordering some of those, but in the short term, I've had to resort to a little creativity. I tried the 'tighty-whities', both alone and with a jock strap over them, as well as a jock strap alone....everything was WAY uncomfortable. I've been in nothing but a robe or very loose sweat pants since surgery, but I had to go back to work today. I needed scrotal support, but the pressure on the penis was unbearable, so I ended up taking a jock strap, cutting about a two-inch slit right down the front center and putting it on letting my little woody poke through the hole. Then I put on a very loose pair of boxers and finally my pants (again very loose). I wore an oversize shirt (untucked) to cover up the bulge, and I made it through the day pretty well. I go back to the doctor on Wednesday so maybe he'll deflate me and I can wear more normal clothes. I will say this....it is getting better day by day, and I have been able to move the pump around a little, as some of the scrotal swelling has subsided (a little). I can at least feel the shape of the pump and the tubes going into it. But after I feel around down there, it aches like hitting a bruise (which is exactly what I'm doing, I guess).

Today is day 16 since implant, and I had a follow up visit with the PA this morning. He said things are progressing really good. He expressed a fluid sac and proceeded to instruct me on inflating and then had me deflate it. While it was uncomfortable, I wouldn't say it was painful. Now he wants me to go home and cycle it once or twice a day until I see him again in two weeks. So is that what you guys call 'activation' or is that something else? He didn't tell me I could take it for a "test drive" yet, but then he didn't say I couldn't. He just didn't mention it either way.

Not sure if I'm ready for "take-off" yet....LOL! But I'm kind of curious as to what it will be like. Anyway, I'm still having trouble with stabbing sharp pain at the base of the flaccid penis...which still is not altogether flaccid. I understand that it is caused by the cylinder fold, and I get the reasoning behind it. Is there something I can do about that or is it just something that I have to get adjusted to?
