Nope, even though some of the literature suggests it's effortless, that is not the case. You have to hold the release button firmly and squeeze the shaft pretty hard to deflate (at least that's the case with my Titan).

I have an LGX 700 and can fully deflate in 10 seconds. It makes a slight hum so be careful if you're around a girl you don't want knowing.
