Anyone had trouble finding the deflate valve?
Hello everyone! Maybe I'm just being a little paranoid and concerned but I been searching and can't find the deflate valve. It maybe still too soon to locate it, I'm only three weeks post op. I play around down there, trying to become familiar with the new addition to the household lol but I can't find the deflate valve. I have very little pain except for the tips of the glands and the base of my penis. My scrotum is still a bit tight I'm assuming it's still getting used to the new edition. My pump is right behind my testicles and every now and then while searching for the valve it becomes uncomfortable with the testicles and the stitches from the incision still healing. I have a six week appointment where my doctor will show me how to cycle it. I think I'm being a bit anxious and it's probably nothing. The surgeons know where they position the pump and guess I'll have to wait to find mine. I kinda wanted to try cycling it on my own lol. Anybody had trouble finding the deflation valve?

Take a soak in a warm bath. It will relax your scrotum and make things much easier to feel.

Jersey,
Yes, at the beginning I had trouble finding the deflate button. In fact, after the first day when I was "taught" how to cycle it, I went home, hopped in a hot bath and pumped it up. Then I deflated it...no problem. The next night I did the same thing. Pumped it up, and then I could not deflate it. I was pushing on everything I could find to get the damn thing to go down, but couldn't, so I gave up and went to bed. Next morning I went to work & at lunch, dropped by my urologist's office to see if there was anyone there who could deflate it. They were extremely busy that day, I only had a limited amount of time on my lunch break....so I gave up and went back to work. When I got home, I immediately got in the tub and began trying to deflate it. What I found was that my pump had repositioned itself and the release button had rotated. When I was at the doctor's office, the button was at a 9 o'clock position (if looking at the pump straight on - from the front). When I finally located it, it was now at a 2 o'clock position (where it has pretty much remained). So keep trying...you'll get the knack of it in no time. But a nice hot bath is the best way to start out. Soon you'll be pumping up and deflating whenever and wherever you want.

Thanks FlaDon
I believe it's located between a testicle, I tried to get between there but it hurts sometimes. I'm figuring there's a trick to it I need to learn. Thanks for your encouragement.

At 3 weeks post op i had problems to locate it. Thats a problem of scrotum swelling. At 5 weeks post op you will found it much more easy

Ya I noticed I still have a little swelling in my scrotum. It's still a bit hard in some areas. Thanks man.

After my first implant, because of swelling, it took forever to find and operate the release buttons on my Titan. It all gets better with time......

Yes, just be patient. I would say six weeks for sure. Let the surgeon, or their assistant, be first and give you instructions. It will not be long until you will probably be able to "one hand it".
