I'm paying $60 for 10ml of 200mg/ml. Since I get 25 or 26 injections from one vial, it is quite reasonable. I wonder when big brother will put an end to that?
I was curious about why you are paying just $14.
I have to tell you about my "former" family practice doc.
After Medicare stopped paying for the shots, he offered to sell me loaded syringes 4 for $85.
I bought them for several months when the gal who took the order suggested that if I paid cash instead of debit or credit, the price would be $70.
I did that for awhile and finally asked my compounding pharmacy if they sold T for injecting. They told me the price and I asked my FP doc if he would give me a prescription for the 6 month supply. He told me he had a policy of not doing that. I asked the pharmacy for the names of some docs who might and now I have a new FP doc.
The former one also didn't do the digital rectal exam for prostate which I found strange. I mentioned that to the new doc and he told me that in over 20 years, he did find tumors in 4 patients who had normal PSA readings. I know statistically that's not much, but the people whom he helped were glad to find out.
