Gonna loose it

Postby Funny9097 » Sun Jul 05, 2015 12:02 am

Hi guys,

I have posted a few times - my health with regards to my private part is up and down. Today my dick feels worse than ever.

I think I have some peyronie's disease and penile thombrosis though it would not be detected in an ultrasound.

I'm 29 years old and considering an implant. I'm just posting because I feel really low right now and need some assurance that an implant would be good given that I'm 29 and might be single shortly (no kids) - I really want to have a family one day and coping with these ED issues is super rough. My mood and perspective shifts day to day and perhaps tomorrow will be a better day.

I know many people ~30 have had implants done over the past several months - any of you have any updates you could share on this post?

My sincere best regards,

Funny9097

Get a consultation with a top surgeon. Where are you located?

Hey there,

I'm the same age - 29 and was implanted about a week ago.

I started a journal documenting everything in detail, here's the thread with my journal:

I've went through the same thing you're going through, and after a week of being implanted it feels as I made the right choice. Seeing my penis hard for more than a few seconds without it going flaccid is fascinating to watch, and it feel amazing to see this. My thread should provide you with the extra info you seek

I've heard from several Canadians on this board that the wait to get an implant up there is long.

Thank you for your responses guys - I will follow your posts pockie.

I agree - the wait list is quite long in Canada not to mention the difficulty of getting a diagnoses (in my case at least) / recommendation by a urologist.

I have been in contact with Dr. Kramer in Maryland and should I go this route am likely going to do so out of pocket with this doctor.

Can anyone speak to how an implant is 5+ years down the line? (or say 10-20)

I'm only 29 and would hope to be fully functional at 60 like so many of you

I think 60-70% of implants are still going strong at 12-15 years (and should get better with improvements), but from what I've read and on the board a re-do is usually not as traumatic as the initial implant (everything's already opened up and healed with area's all ready to just basically slip in new implants, pump whatever with reduced trauma versus original. From what I understand the actual implant's are guaranteed for life.....the only cost would be the Dr. fee's and outpatient deductibles or fees. With semi decent insurance (or small medical savings cookie jar) getting a new 12-15 yrs of fun and enjoyment seems like a cheap price to me.

At your age with no working "equipment" you have basically everything to gain and very little to lose......................Me at almost 65,....... well I just can't give up on a good thing! To many "wonderful memories" of sexual adventure's I'd love to repeat...over and over and............over.

thanks Saytar for your positive words - tonight's been a really rough one for me in coping with this problem. It's great to have such a good group of people on the forum.
