slow leak/ slow inflation

When I pump up I don't always hear the pop sound or feel it. I still manage to inflate but the penis doesn't get as hard as I would like. The problem is tha if I leave it inflated I start to loose hardness and after about an hour I have to pump some more. The other problem is when I deflate down as far as I can after a couple of hours it feels like I am inflated to about 50%. Do you think (1) I have a defected pump (2) the pop is required to maintain inflation (3) the pump comes with a method to reset

Hmm! Good luck. My biggest fear too. I've gotten thru the hard part, now I have to wait for the moment of truth. Hope you get lots of pointers in this thread. There are some in other threads too!
