Vac Pump Before Surgery

Postby murray1949 » Sun Jul 26, 2015 9:00 am

Some doctors suggest using a pump to help maintain size before surgery as sometime we have a loss in size. Any suggestions? I have started but can't tell if it is helping or will it last. Any help would be great as I am only 5.5" when pumped and use to be 6.5" when much younger. :?:

My doctor advocates the VED protocol for at least 8 weeks prior to surgery. He and his assistant, Tom Sellers, published the findings in AUA journals, in which they state that complaints of loss of size have virtually become non-existent. The study has been cited in numerous posts on this board, but if you search "penile implant and vacuum protocol" you'll find it. As to my experience, I had no loss in size, and I'm in the "short-horn" club, having an erect length of 5.25", so loss of size was a major concern. Even among doctors who do not recommend the protocol, most say "It can't hurt."
