Hi Alterr,
Sorry I missed this. My guess is you'll be fine after the episode with the long erection. I've heard of several guys falling asleep with erections, as you did, and others who have had erections for up to seven hours without any permanent damage. Obviously it is best to keep your erections to around two hours or less.
It is not unusual for me to experience pain after injecting. That happens for a lot of guys as well. One of the ingredients in trimix, alprostadil, is known to cause pain in some users. It could be that the trimix worked perfectly for you during that episode. After all, you achieved a three-hour erection despite some pain that may have come from the alprostadil.
If you can, keep detailed notes about your injections. One way to do this is to "practice" by masturbating. I keep what amounts to a journal that lists times and events. I track what time I injected, what time I started to feel an erection starting, what time I was fully erect, when I started to go flaccid, and so on. Most important I note how much of the drug I inject.
This is the best way for you to determine how to make the medicine work best for you. Obviously it is difficult to do this while having sex with a partner, but you can obviously accomplish it on your own. One of the most important things to track is how you react to different dosages.
By keeping the journal you'll eventually be able to determine just how much to inject and what to expect. For example, it is possible to know how much to inject if you want to have sex for 30 minutes, one hour, or two hours.
Good luck!

Re: Injections Made Penis Softer - HELP!
Hello alterr, sorry I have taken so long in logging back on and replying to you! I have experienced the pain that you're talking about several times. But they were in the beginning, when I was learning how to properly place the injections. The bad pains seemed to correlate with the dosage of trimix administered. The more trimix, the more occurrences of pain in the side of my penis, and at times in the head of it.
In the beginning of my trimix adventures I had several erections lasting 6 hours, (3), and one lasting 7! That one was worrisome, as the pain was intense. Fortunately the erections all went down on the driving to the hospital. For some reason, driving caused my erections to go down rather quickly. I have not experienced loss of sensation or any changes in the quality of the erections since those episodes of priapism. So there is no evidence I can notice, of damage done from the prolonged erections.
Now I adjust the dose to as how long the wife wants to play! It took me a couple of months to get it all down to a science, it was quite the learning curve at first. But I think that you shouldn't need to worry about 2 or 3 hour erections. You will be fine. The pain issue is more difficult, as it seemed to me to be dose related. And after about 3 or 4 months, there were no more episodes of pains in the side of the penis or the head.
Your Urologist may or may not be of help, but I would refer to him and see what his ideas are if the pain persists. Alprostadil is usually the cause of the pain in trimix, and giving injections in the same spots over and over again seems to cause some bad pai

injections
The main reason I went off needles and on to implant was because of the bizarre reaction I had. Injection site and no pain, no problem.
But only lower shaft got hard. So three inches like a tree trunk, and the rest of upper shaft and head hanging over to the side.
Took about 2 hours to subside. No way I could force it soft .
